Are fruits bad for you ? real talk
point of fruit to trick you into eating it so you poop out and fertilize their seeds. They use sugar to make their fruit taste good they aren't trying to be healthy lol
Plants offering fruit were the first drug dealers. Fruit has fructose. Fructose acts on the dopamine receptors in the brain much like a drug. Fruit isn't just edible, it's addictive
so is it actually good to eat ?
im just doing research to see if i should switch to Carnivore diet and seeing if eating greens/veggies is ok to avoid while on it or if its gonna mess me up
i only been on it for a week but i can say so far my lifts improved and fat loss is already noticeable
eggs for breakfast.. salmon for lunch... lamb shank for dinner

but what about avoiding fruits and salads completely am i gonna run into trouble
im thinking of eating rice once a week but avoiding fruits and greens still just because i dont trust that fruits made themselves taste good just to trick us its just too sneaky for me to believe its good for us
BUT at same time
wouldnt fruits want us to live longer ?
the longer we live and healthy the more seeds we spread when pooping around the forest/jungles
so theres a conflict here im unsure on wut to do

I always cut using keto/zero carb diets in the past and I'd always get really bad carb/sugar cravings then cheat on my diet with something crazy like 2 tubs of ben and jerrys and a huge pizza or something.
Since I started cutting with (low) but simple carbs (brown rice, sweet potato etc) and started introducing a small bowl of fruit salad after dinner for dessert (e.g. watermelon, raspberries, strawberries, grapes, blueberries etc) its completely killed all cravings and I can stick to my diet better.
When I say small fruit salad, I mean like a coffee mugs worth at most (probs like 150 cals in total).
Also, it helps give me short term energy boost + feel like its helped improve alertness during the day and skin.

Oh yes, of course the carnivore diet is going to be better, healthier for you because it prolongs longevity (why live to be 80 when you can live to be 100?), it's basically the ancient diet of our ancestors, who never got sick, and they lived extremely long lives (no cancer, no cavities, no cardiovascular disease, etc)

I only eat apples daily. And I am picky about what type of Apple too.
I will also eat seasonal fruit once or twice a week too.
Other than that, I don’t really eat other things as I’ve seen pretty fat people who eat lots of fruits. Lol

lol is that nonsense the kind of propaganda carnivore advocates are using?
seriously, whats so difficult about just keeping a balanced diet. You can cut perfectly fine on it and keep good blood markers, high test levels etc etc meats, fruit, veg, dairy, nuts/seeds, grains etc
no need to over complicate things

vit C fights sugar to get abosrbed
so less fruits = more vit c absorption
and this is just one example
personally im trying to research to see if its smarter to go on carnivore diet for 1-2 weeks then either carb up/ fruit up// salad up and then again go on carnivore diet just because its simple and seems to be most beneficial long term

Fruits are definitly healthy what are you talking about. If we evolved from monkeys and monkeys eat bananas all day then it must be good for us

Fruit and vegetables have changed drastically in modern times. You would not recognize them in the times of our ancestors.
Fruits have a lot of vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes. They are not "mostly sugar." Some fruits have higher sugar content than others. What is important is the balance between fiber and sugar.
The AHA defines the daily sugar allowance as sugar being added to food. Fruit does not count. It's like comparing coca cola made with real coca leaves, and the pure, refined form of coca.
My question is: If someone is addicted to sugar, and has a problem with quitting and wishes to abstain completely, then is eating fruit going to trigger cravings? On one hand, it's obviously not the same as the refined form. On the other hand, it's just a weaker version.
