I can come up with the 25K to start, but now I’m a little more confused .

I watched this YouTube video and they said if you go threw the TD bank here in Canada , they have a free stock scanning software tool . Not sure how valuable that would be.

Ok I googled margin accounts and the TD bank came up again .
Maybe I should make an appointment with the TD and have them explain all this good stuff to me

You’re in a thread where the topic is “penny” stocks.

Last time I checked there’s 100 of them in a dollar.

I see an opportunity to invest, and you mock it due to your lack of capitol to invest in bigger fish.

Diversity is key.

nike is not a penny stock ph*gg*t. do you know how much you need to invest to see a half decent return on a dollar rise for a company like nike.

I have wanted to short NIKE ever since the Kap issue.

I was a big NIKE fan and I will never buy another NIKE product again. I cannot be the only one who thinks this.

Well I watched a review on Warrior Trading . The guys got like 5000 or more members paying maybe on average 100 bucks a month to be on what I believe is basically a forum to teach you how to trade .
So the guys pulling in $500,000 a month alone from his forum ? Good gig he’s got going there , no wonder he’s rich

TVOG had news today. Nothing major but another good step forward. SEC engagement attorney is crucial towards getting the Form 10 filed.

https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/TVO...y?e&id=1293742

I expect the stock to stay around this area for the next few days or so.

IMUN holding and I expecting BIG news anytime now.

May have another good play coming so be ready. Doing some DD on it. Liking it. Will update.

Trade Ideas is the best that I've come across. You can build just about any type of scanner you want. It's expensive though. I use Tradingview for my scanner. They're the best free scanner that I've found. Finviz & Marketchamelion are decent as well, but they use delayed data unless you have a paid subscription.

New stock and company that I love.

Similar to TVOG, this new company has a ton of news about to hit.

GZIC. Green Zebra wireless. Trades right around .01. I believe this has dollar land potential very very soon.

http://greenzebramedia.com/

https://greenzebra.net/

The CEO just tweeted that they were awarded a second contract to install their 5 G wireless at a MAJOR American airport. Both contracts have yet to be formally PR'd or released with a filing. When those hit people are going to be loving this stock. We don't know which airports they have been awarded contracts but we know the current $ value and they are big.

This was formerly NNSR before the name and symbol change to GZIC. Closed today at .0105. Hit .017 10 days ago. When these contracts get formally PR'd and updated on the government website...the stock is going to go crazy. Great time to get in KNOWING that these contracts are there....just a matter of getting in before they are announced and the general public finds out.

This is basically like getting inside info in the sense that the public is unaware unless you actually follow this company.

Here is the most recent tweet.

These are just among several projects and wireless contracts getting ready to be announced. When they are-and they are imminent, the stock should easily surpass the highs of last fall of 4 cents.

Current revenue estimates for all projects for 2019 could approach $75 Million.

Current market valuation of the company? Around $5 Million.

CEO is retiring 500 Million shares from the OS as well.

This stock has a strong following and a loyal one. Most will hold for much higher prices so we don't have to worry about a lot of selling on the way up as well.

GZIC no one knows this news yet guys unless you really follow the company. But it is pretty under the radar so to speak.

HUGE govt airport contract, actually this is the second one awarded to them, has been granted to GZIC.

This is really major major news for a penny stock company. To get awarded govt contracts like this for a major US airport is a coup. And again, no one knows yet.

Waiting on the govt to post it to their website and then it will be PR'd and it will never see under 5 cents again imo.

Potential up to $75 M in revs. Only 500 M OS with the coming 500 M share retirement.

Minimum Equity Requirement: The minimum equity requirement for a customer who is designated as a pattern day trader is $25,000. This $25,000 requirement must be deposited into the customer’s account prior to any day trading activities and must be maintained at all times. A customer cannot fulfill this $25,000 requirement by cross-guaranteeing separate accounts. Each day trading account is required to meet the $25,000 requirement independently, using only the financial resources avail- able in that account.
If a customer’s account falls below the $25,000 requirement, the customer will not be permitted to day trade until the customer deposits cash or securities into the account to restore the account to the $25,000 minimum equity level.
Ok if you have 25k in an account like this as required , and you buy 5K worth of stock out of this account , do you have to sell some shares that same day in order to keep the account balance at a 25K minimum by the end of the trading day,
or as long as the share value and what you have in your account still combine for a total of 25K , your fine ?

In others words , if you buy stocks out of this account and sit on them for a few weeks , will you be breaking the rule by not having a 25K balance because you’ve invested some of the balance ?

The value of the assets you own in your account are a part of the overall equity balance of your account. So if you have $20K in cash, and $5K invested in a stock, your account value is $25K. You'll have to add funds to the account if the value of the stock drops though.

Are you for real? Be honest with us.

If you are still dumb enough to be taken in by this third rate Walmart huckster I've got no sympathy.

It's possible that you are part of the scam so I've also flagged you up to the SEC as well as Optimist (possible charges Conspiracy, wire fraud, insider trading, related boiler room frauds). Yep that does mean serious jail time in case you're still wondering.

I know you can't buy OTC penny stocks on margin, but you're missing the point.

You're promoting risky behavior to people who know nothing about buying stocks. They barely know how to even sign up for an account and are even placing market orders for penny stocks.

If these beginners sign up for a margin account there is nothing preventing them from buying non OTC stocks on margin without even realizing it. You're also implying that they should only be buying the OTC penny stocks that you're promoting which is suspicious in itself.

Just be honest, do you think that OTC penny stocks are a good place for a complete beginner to start? Even if they happen to make a few bucks in their first couple trades, they are going by information provided by a random stranger on a message board and not through their own DD. It won't be long until they start to see losses.

Take a deep breath for fk sakes . I’m getting laid off in less then 6 months , my health sucks, down to one eye and major issues with atrial fibrillation , so I’m looking at other options .

I know most fail , yes I realize this , so I think I’m going to play with 5K and see what happens. I can’t come up with the 25K , as it’s 33K Canadian , so I’ll have to pay the higher fees .
I have been watching YouTube videos and will be learning before I just jump right in, although after seeing the natural shrimp stocks go up exponentially after OP posted , I think his foresight is much better than mine .
I don’t know wtf else you want me to tell you ?

All I want is to figure this out . And yes , I haven’t got a fk clue yet.
Thats why I’m asking lots of stupid questions .

Btw , did you loose a lot of money from trading ? You seem kinda bitter

Googled OTC stocks . Have to say they sound a little sketchy , but some companies have actually started that way and prospered according to what I read .
Sounds a bit to risky though .

That natural shrimp stock was not otc though was it. I have no way to tell how that works yet .
I know otc are not posted on the nasdeq etc ?

Update . I guess it was if I’m reading this correct

The sheer existence of this thread is a huge topping signal. Penny stocks are all about getting lucky and getting that 10-100x return. That 100x pump already happened.

Doing nothing but creating new bagholders now.

This thread isnt only about shmp and tvog anymore my dude, more of a pick of the week; how have your stocks been doing.

Yes we still keep an eye on tvog because updates are still coming out but just scroll up a few posts theres a fresh pick in posted yesterday.
He gives you info with each pick he makes, dont have to jump on each one, see how his pick does. If it does well try hopping on the next one

OP what is your opinion on futures? Saw a vid on YT and judging by the comments it is much easier to make money with futures than stocks?
