DBs > Barbells
^ agreed squats aren’t necessary
“Overtraining” fukking lol
Pyramid sets are GOAT
Lifting + Functional Strength + Cardio. I don’t mind spending 2 hours in the gym working on all of them. It’s far better than just lifting for 30 - 45 min, imo
You don’t need THAT much protein

Curling in the squat rack is fun.
'Lol nah bro, it's just a couple of pigs, but the way they were put together makes you think they are thighs and a cock'

Man, this thread is a treasure trove of....something.
Anyway, I guess mine would be endurance training does not always hinder gains. I have seen better muscle definition with heavy lifting even while putting in mileage.

Currently: Marathon training (Run with Hal - Advanced I); The Work/Body Beast hybrid
Next race: Ohio 10K - September 12, 2021

That it's not that hard to find genetic freaks, there are many people with elite-tier genetics walking around who could very well become the next Larry Wheels / Eddie Hall
Stats:
5'7 165 lbs
bench-240
squat-405
dead-430

all you need for traps is deads. for tris, bench and ohp are more than enough. for bis, chinups, never do curls.
for calves, squats and deads will build great calves.
i hate *******s who give advice like this.

- Barbell bench press is a waste of time. DB’s are much better.

Beltless training is fake news and has no place in powerlifting training
You lift less with beltless (usually), meaning lesss stimulus to your lifts = detraining. Doing more bad than good
