So what, are you trying to imply that if someone makes money from something, that thing is inherently bad?
"What's to be gained by vaccinating everyone?" Hmm, I dunno, disease prevention?

You are absolutely one of the most retarded kunts on the misc.
1. "Ancient disease". Fuk, do I need to go on? Absolute idiocy. I don't know if you've simply never seen that word used in context, but you're wrong.
The first smallpox vaccine was created in the late 17th century. Smallpox was eventually eradicated in the 1980s. I'm not sure you'll find anyone who will agree with you that 'ancient' can be accepted to describe thirty years ago.
2. The entire point of governments, or even simply of a society itself, is to put first the concerns of the society. People are important insofar as their needs are the needs of the society, as are their interests. To go around screaming "hurr communists" does nothing but expand the evidence of your severe intellectual deficiencies.
It's quite clear that the best case scenario is that you get all of your education from YouTube videos but, more likely, you don't watch the videos, and you've learnt everything you're so passionate about from the comments on YouTube videos.

Do you believe in freedom of the individual like an American with all the dominant traits members of a free society have? Or doe you think we should all be communist rats in a cage? everyone equal nobody important, nothing having meaning.
the government in that sense is anti-freedom. They dont care about the individual, they only care about managing the burdens of society. In that sense I am anti-government influence.
For example they see that there is problems with overpopulation, so they push interracial to keep the population which is getting increasingly multicultural, to keep the cattle getting along. They dont care about the ego of one individual or the value of preserving certain cultures.
They see disease as a mass solution, they are worried about herd immunity, if once in a while a kid gets warped, so be it. They dont care about the ego of the mother and the child, they care about the mass solution.
so this is literally an argument of freedom vs communism. To you that might be ok to say the government works like that but to me that is a scary and sick thought. I guess in the USA we value freedom and individuality more.
what you think is normal I see as a form of slavery to the masses and we fought long and hard to get communism which is a cancer out of power in America.
It isn't until you've live in USA and tasted capitalist freedom and developed into a fully mature adult that you see how a free society is superior to rat race society.

Too many stupid people just don't understand how it works. I am sure a lot of you don't have kids, but the day you eventually do have children you will understand how parents who are actually educated on how it works thinks that anyone who doesn't vaccinate their kid is a complete donkey because they could kill other kids based on junk science.

Nobody can prove vaccines are 100% safe so theres no science there backing you. not sure what youre on about.
Vaccines are not 100% safe and no scientists claim that. they are only safe for a majority of people not all....
Some people do get their kids warped, but they are arguing its still worth it....
Far from being dumb if you feel like a vaccine is like Russian roulette with your child who you love.

Why don't you just Google "vaccines autism research" instead of making stupid fukn posts about the amish and chit.
Hey, surprise, there's tonnes of stuff on the subject, and it's very easy to find.

I personally believe the world is populated by too many stupid people. So I definitely don't mind the anti-vax crowd. Diseases have a way of primarily eliminating undesirables from the population anyways.

Okay, thanks. Why don't they just compare autism rates in vaccinated vs unvaccinated populations? Has this ever been done? Without a doubt they would have data on this to check up, or just look at Amish populations?

Also yes there are people with actual legitimate medical reasons they are unable to be vaccinated this has been established.

Im so educated that I'm saying people rely on just "education" or the idea that the way things are is also synonymous for truth.
This topic would be easy if it was easy science.
What im saying is that when communism, or truth have to battle, its not "harsh truth" that wins out, its, what is good for the masses.
Same with history and science, lately the members of those communities and their SJW egos tend to favor ethics over reality and truth.
So the concept on a scientific level is only remarkable because of the large pool of anecdotal evidence by "victims" of vaccines. One so large that it would actually make you "uneducated" to ignore it.
If youre so smart, doesnt the amount of complaints raise a red flag?
Im looking THROUGH the layer of communism to find the truth on the other side.
the truth seems to be, yeah its a lose lose scenario, but shhhh lets just go with what is best for society as a whole and make this tough choice.
All im saying is that there is a dark side there and its not about education, I have studied all the facts, but I have no hidden agenda except to express the truth.
the truth is its a difficult paradigm and sometimes science is limited. So the uneducated people are the ones who only take the world at face value. The ones who think science is a form of magic that knows all things... You have to be smart to know where the limits of science even are. Only dumb people think science knows everything.
I have seen this debated for years now and heard all sides to it, all that is left is bullying people who have legitimate fears.
Until you can explain the patterns of anecdotal reports and how they are all eerily similar, which would not be the case if anti-vaxxers were as dumb as flat earthers.
this topic is about bullying people who aren't that dumb acting like they are super dumb when they aren't.
and this is coming from someone who would vaccinate their kids. All im saying is, they have a valid fear and aren't that dumb. its dumb to not see that and pseudo intellectualism to act like the argument for it is a simple binary one of dumb vs smart.

Not sure why you always have to bring up something about jewish stuff or some condescending comment.
why even participate in a debate thread if just gonna resort to ad hominem gestures?
matter of fact why do you even post here if you hate us all so much and always disagree and act condescending to what we talk about?

There are risks to everything. Do we stop live-saving surgery because of a smaller risk of death? Generally, no.
Now take that logic and add in another factor: what if not doing the surgical procedure almost guaranteed that you were at a higher risk of contracting a contagious disease, that you can then give onto others?

first of all, scientists know, to your question of who knows.
second of all, just lol at drawing causation between vaccinations and fatter, sicker, lower t level adults today. could there be any OTHER reason that might be the case? i mean ANYTHING AT ALL?
third of all, your personal anecdotal story about your parents using you as a vaccination example is worthless from a scientific standpoint. and in what way were you "never quite the same" after you got vaccinated? did you grow larger and develop acne?

"A cultural history of the last forty years, The Age of American Unreason focuses on the convergence of social forces—usually treated as separate entities—that has created a perfect storm of anti-rationalism. These include the upsurge of religious fundamentalism, with more political power today than ever before; the failure of public education to create an informed citizenry; and the triumph of video over print culture. Sparing neither the right nor the left, Jacoby asserts that Americans today have embraced a universe of “junk thought” that makes almost no effort to separate fact from opinion."
I suggest everyone read this book, even the illiterate troglodytes here, if you want to understand how people in the this thread can exist. I promise, they won't catch the autism. As someone else stated this irrational fear has being going on for over a century.

its not a clean cut choice... none of us can play god.
Only a parent should have that choice and I respect the ones who are afraid...
lets not even consider how many Kids get an ancient disease vs how many reports of changed babies there are....
its probably like 1 in 10 million vs 1 in 10,000 or something.
so people are essentially fighting for that one, but its cool if the others get something else sometimes...

misc is just a reiteration of reddit at this point. Sad how much it's fallen from.
Merely saying:
"you are usually just regurgitating someone else's opinion, something someone else shoved in your head, and there is NO point in getting defensive over things you yourself cannot verify or prove, and that people have incentives to lie and mislead, whether they actually do or not, it's important to recognize that, and we shouldn't turn a blind eye to people who were harmed by following mainstream advice and shouldn't be dismissive of everyone else"
is enough to bring the redditor style "BUT sCiEnCe maaannn!!" posts in droves. Fukn ridiculous. I wonder if I'll see you all at the next blue hair feminazi rally too.
This 18 year old ******* literally got vaccinated to prove a point and because of his ideology. There was no health risk as an unvaccinated 18 year old but he did it only because his ideological position has him consumed this much. That's just pathetic. Doing something that serves no benefit to you at your age just because you wanna humiliate your mother who, whether out of ignorance or not, was doing what she thought was in your best interest. If someone being this petty doesn't bother you then idk what to even say.
As the saying goes: "people don't have ideologies anymore, ideologies have people"
