definitely some power creep
implicits on jewels is power creep
some trade offs that you cant have an implicit on shaper/elder items though, and at least you have to craft from scratch your implicit items, so will take investment
there will be some sick implicits though, and worth having over some shaper/elder spots

and im sure it'll make lvling easier, get some good implicit along with dmg mods and lvling will be a breeze which im all for - being hc and all

the hatred change is interesting for occultist vortex, it was already op as kmal can testify

same question every league though....go with what you know to start ie arc traps with blade vortex or could test storm brand as that seems amazing too, or go with something new...like a reworked handcast spell

yeah, probably going to go BV elementalist and then switch to occultist when I have the gear for CI

all depends on patch notes though

chaos spam could be a thing though with broken mods
but yeh, probably be similar to last league, get a good implicit and multi craft it will be best and easiest way to go

Guessing alt regal on the implicit mods then multi

dis game has gone from needing a 5000 ex full mirror set-up for end game to being able to delete all bosses on a 2 exalt miner with arc or glacial cascade

got power-leveled to 72 in delve in 2 hrs and then leveled 3x100 with pure breachstones in betrayal

i hate to say it but its gettin a little too d3 imho, feels like putting on a gem of ease and rushing to greater rifts. I just hit merciless on an elder vaal axe, annul'ed the suffixes off, crafted it to 600 pdps (same as a disfavor) but this one has 20% of non chaos added as chaos, so 720 effective dps overall. 2 e-z

skippin this next league (Synthesis), got 40/40 in 7 of the last 8, this one looks like its just re-using all that content on a chitty snakes and ladders board, keeping us busy while they work on the real prize (4.0 edition).

going to miss the opening day because im going to a concert in chicago, rip any chance at making money.

gonna be playing a scourge arrow deadeye most likely, maybe pathfinder. or just going to change my mind last minute and play some build ill hate (ie some spell build thats overtuned)

hey, man, I've earned my stripes. I've played hardcore since I started playing in early 2010. I'm just not good enough to do end game content on HC.

I also really dislike how the HC temp league dies after 4 weeks or so. What I'll probably end up doing is playing SC for a while and when/if I get bored, I'll play HCSSF

Any budget builds get buffed for 3.6?

Last season I did a Chieftan CwC Incinerate Volatile Dead fire build, was fun with huge fireballs but end game was super hard as it was difficult to kill single target bosses. Couldnt even kill the Mastermind syndicate guy.

League starters everyone?
I've done a bit of looking around, thought about -
Soul rend trickster or occultist, or any chaos dot. They seem great for map clearing, not sure on boss killing but people do early league essence drain dont they so that might be ok to switch to for end game bosses. Damage boost with new dot aura too. And soul rend looks like a nice qol chaos dot build.
Some Inquisitor taking advantage of consecrated ground stuff. Spell or ele blade flurry seemed good.
Heiro freeze pulse or frostbolt totems, both buffed, should be great. Not totally sure on end game boss damage though.
EK huge buff, should be amazing map clearer, boss damage still looks awful. Even thought about traps, but i dont think that'll help enough.
I think i've settled on Lightning Trap. Is very similar to arc traps, its getting a big buff and you dont need the trap support gem so can get extra damage there. I did a test and i had no pierce or fork etc for map clear and it was ok. Boss damage was ok, killed phoenix guardian no problem...slightly long fight but no issues. So with big dmg boost, and pierce/fork, should be alot like arc traps.
Ice Trap should be good too, only thing i dont know what the aoe will be like. If it'll be enough. The lightning trap seems easier to play in terms of just throwing the trap anywhere and the pack should die as spreads 360. Ice trap has more damage though, both flat and added effective damage, so def worth a look if the aoe is good.

Leveling with holy flame totem should be an ok dmg boost, flame totem had 1-2 fire dmg at lvl 1 and it was ok, holy flame totem has 3-5 phys dmg...not saying use it as your lvling skill, but plonking it down when you need a bit of extra dmg seems good.
Only thing i dont know is if i still lvl with a blade vortex setup for faster boss killing or something else.
