Update: he pooped on the floor this morning. Wife has a cat, I’m not a huge fan. The dog poops inside 1% of the time, cats do it 100%.

For a Weimaraner, my dog is usually pretty chilled out. They’re known to get some separation anxiety if you leave them home alone too long but he’s not too bad. If he does chew something up while we’re gone it’s usually shoes because they tend to grab something that smells like their owners. My wife lost a pair of Uggs to him a while back that she’s still pissed about.

I love Weimaraners, we had to have ours PTS a few years ago. He had a tumour on the brain that would cause him to have pretty bad aggression fits , bit through my finger , bit my parents etc. But was the most loving loyal dog you could ask for. Was a sad time.

Nah, he knows he was bad. His ears only go back like that when he’s guilty. I actually pulled him out of his crate for the pic. When he does something bad he looks really guilty and just goes to his crate without me even having to tell him. It’s a separation anxiety thing with weimaraners, kind of like humans chewing their fingernails. He can’t really help it. The problem is that they tend to chew things that smell like their owners, so they’re notorious for chewing up shoes. If I ever get stuck at work late I just brace myself to find out what he chewed up this time. He’s usually pretty good about it though, not nearly as bad as other weims

These are my favorite polos, so I try to scoop up a few when I can at ~50% price. Especially since I slimmed down from a large to a medium.

Also, I stopped by Williams Sonoma last week and ended up getting a dope cutting board and chefs' knife.

and today I am cooking a broccoli + cheddar soup (2 lbs of chicken at the bottom)

Apparently the broccoli and cheddar is added in 8 hours after the broth has been cooking.
