That was savage and a bit over the top, but I had the same issues with the movie. Tarantino is a film buff not a historian, which I guess is the reason for the way he treated that topic. Brad Pit's acting also was pretty cringe at times.

The movie had it's upsides though. Christoph Waltz was just brillant and the weird plot led to a truly unpredictable film, which is something Hollywood lacks.
