Great argument.

You literally couldn't have proven my point any better. You are a low-rent, low iq crybaby who struggles to articulate the most simple thought process. You sound like a wounded animal hissing and yelping because, socially, it hasn't developed a meaningful way to communicate. You're literally a rodent.

Strong back-pedal as well. I thought Trump's campaign was anti-muslim? Did you forget to add the "extremist part", or were you intentionally being factually dishonest in order to take the opportunity to vent your pathetic, underlying emotions about a white guy?

Yes, he implemented a temporary travel ban on countries with higher muslim-extremist density. Breaking news: I have read the majority of the pleadings from those cases that are now at the U.S. Supreme Court's steps.

You see what I did there? Ireadsomething...thenformulated an opinion.

Are you for muslim-extremists? Your position begs the question and it could be reasonably inferred that (pay close attention so you don't lose track): You are anti-trump and his anti-muslim extremist views, you are anti-temporarytravel ban in order to get a better grasp on a broken system that allows unsavory people to enter our country to cause damage from the inside, therefore you are pro-muslim extremist.

Liberal logic. You can't mourn until unless you have the same political opinion as them. Fukn ridiculous, times and moments like these we should look to unite not further divide. I'll also say the guy was a dolt.

Still though, do liberals take responsibility when a serial killer who aligns with liberal views does something? Definitely not, so why are they so quick to turn it into politics when it's someone on the right who does something? The conclusion is either that don't judge an ideology based on the actions of a few or judge an ideology based on the actions of a few, but be consistent

Surely you are not this obtuse.

Edit: Nvm, Canada. Same chit. Replace NZ with Canadian
to be fair, if trump got his way, there would be no muslims to shoot

also, for someone who's "anti-muslim" to come up and offer respects does say a lot. it would be like richard spencer showing up for some black dude getting shot

I don't get what's wrong with wearing that hat. Although it was probably irrelevant and had nothing to the with the event or the actual shooting. Maybe he's an american? People who associate Trump with racist don't have brain cells and can't think for themselves. All Trump did was reiterate our constitution in a not so eloquent way that pissed alot of people off. If burglary or assault is in the Constitution and I condemn people who do those things. It doesn't make me an antibiotic burglarist etc. He might not be the greatest speaker but he sure knows how to stir up emotions in people. Good or bad emotions as long as they're strong is good publicity.

This is what I'm thinking. Now if the dude was purposefully there to start trouble, then that's something else.

Just wearing a MAGA hat doesn't make a person racist. Don't give me the argument he was asking for trouble. That is the same as a woman wearing a skirt getting raped and being told she was asking for it.

It doesn't even matter that it was at a vigil because in reality, those same people at the vigil would record and blast the dude no matter where he was wearing that hat. Evidence of that sort of thing is all over the net.

So a MAGA hat now means someone who supports the killing of Muslims?

I'm not a trump supporter, I think he is a moron. I did not support Hilldawg either.

However I find it quite profound that the maga hat is basically as controversial as throwing up a nazi flag. When did the hat become so synonymous with 'hate' that you literally can't wear it in some venues and gatherings without being possibly thrown out or seen as someone who wants to start chit?

To me trump is a moron, but to people on the extreme left - and on the extreme right - he seems to symbolize neo-nazism. Personally I don't think he is actually that, he seems more like a selfish narcissist than anything else. I actually do not believe he wants to implement racist laws, but he might be slightly racist in his personal life due to his surroundings and environment - that can be said about almost anyone.

When I see another person wearing the hat I generally think two things: if they're young then they are trying to be edgy or memey. Maybe thats where this crowds anger comes from, so I guess that is understandable. If they're older I just consider them to have chit views for politics (for the record imho 90% of people have chit views for politics anyway). However I don't actually consider them to be outright neo-nazi level of hatred, and personally neither of the aforementioned thoughts about the hat piss me off more than just being annoyed that either cliche exists.

tl;dr: Just weird to me that the hat is so controversial

I have no problems with people wearing anything, literally anything. But you gotta use common sense sometimes. If a hat is seen as a negative symbol and I know most people will not be fond of me wearing it, you bet your ass I'll probably not wear it just to not get all the unwanted attention unless that's why I'm wearing it in the first place.

Let’s break this down to the least common denominator

So some people are upset some one wore a red hat with some words.

Apparently that is what is wrong with America I guess...

Even though the insident was in NZ but the guy wore the hat in Canada

When people say that hat is as bad as a Nazi symbol...it makes me worried.

They would literally treat someone with a sign that says "I hate Muslims" the same as wearing that hat, which is ridiculous.

I understand he was dumb for wearing, but if you guys can't realize why it's different...then you are lost and just as dumb.

You should not treat that hat as the same as actual hate..otherwise we trivialize actual hate (guy is more of a troll).

Same as the whole sexual assault can be unwanted touching (actual sexual assault) or cat calling (just someone being annoying). If you can't see why one is worse...you are a dummy.

Going through someone's post history to insult them?

It’s ill-advised to wear that hat out in public anywhere just due to the fact that people tend to lose all rationally when they see someone with it on.

Yea

My sig is outdated though. Probably more like 550/410/650 these days.

I have an appreciation for logic and reasoning. I also use any opportunity I can to explain my opinion. It's easy to short-hand a response that is factually dishonest, but it takes effort to have a real conversation.

Yea man, super tough clicking a button twice to see your post history. I didnt even go to the second page. Everything I quoted you on was on the first page... yikes.

Effort=autism/tryhard? How is calling you out being insecure? You are simply projecting.
