Don't do some stupid crash diet like all the fatties try to do. They just gain all the weight back after. Don't worry about how long it takes. Make PERMANENT changes to your lifestyle, do something that is SUSTAINABLE for the rest of your life

If you want to lose that much weight by June that ship has already sailed especially If its to look good for the beach. If you are successful at it, those 50lbs will ALL be muscle and youll just be a skinnier version of your current fat self. You wont "look" good you'll just be small and fat instead of big and fat.... aka, skinny-fat.

You gotta stop buying it. Remove it from your house. Just throw it away or take it to a friends house to let them finish it off. I'm the same way, I cant have chips or icecream or crackers or candy or other empty calories just sitting in cupboards and fridges because soon or later I'll crack, lol.

I lost 85 pounds in 4 actual months "18 weeks" long time ago.(srs, but I DO NOT recommend it)

Dropped from 265 "my heaviest" to 180 , lost 13 lbs water weight and averaged 4lb/week. Some of the weight was definately muscle, not much though. My lifts barely went down.

It's not fun, but it works.

Everyday

MAKE SURE you get enough vitamins.

Keep the meals high in protein like a PSMF diet. (Which this basically is, but my own version)

1/2 gallon of Green tea.
1/2 gallon water with REAL lemon in it, not that squeeze bottle. Make it strong, no sugar.
A LOT of radishes
Scallions+ a little salt
3-4 cloves of garlic
chicken
spinach
mushroom
can of tuna
bacon
eggs
oatmeal for the carbs

At the Healthfood store maybe GNC also, they have a box with little glass vials of Ginseng/honey. Drink 3 of those each day. When you get up, after lunch, before bed.
They also have black licorice bars. 1/day

Add up a total of 1300 calories. (whatever gets you losing 4 pounds/week)

Over the next couple weeks, slowly work up to this part.

Cardio (bike, swim, walk/run) as much as you can. Lift as much as you can, no split routine, hit every muscle group/everyday. I mean until you can barely stand it. You're muscles are going to be hurting like a MF.

All the cardio and lifting, you'll burn a good 500+ calories each day.

Now...

After every 7 days of feeling some mad zombie cravings, take 2 days completely off and eat at 500 calories over maintenance, to get your strength back, rest up and extra protein.

I still DO NOT recommend it. Plus, you'll most likely gain a lot of it back within a year.

I take no blame if you fuk yourself up doing this, if you want to listen to someone in an online forum that's all on you. Remember, this is the MISC section.

If you REALLY try this, ask a doctor first and get a blood test each month.

imo i only dropped that much because i had a show & it was my first time ever getting abs. didn't realize how much i had to lose and i did a **** load of cardio to get there. if you don't have anything incredibly important, don't crash diet. take your time and lose 1-2 lbs a week to build good habits

Seems like I lost ~50lbs from July to November last year. Been slowing dropping more since then.. Eating sub 50 grams of carbs per day, walking ~1-2 miles 4-5 days a week, and lifting ~30 minutes in the mornings ~4 days a week.

This thread is the first time I have realised that you use both the metric system and imperial in freedomland. Protein in grams and bodyweight in pounds. Guess your more like the UK than you think lol.

You can lose about 1 pound per day if you do 1 to 2 hours cardio until you reach 14 - 15 percent body fat then it will just be a matter of caloric deficit.

The problem with the snake diet is that it is very capable of allowing someone to lose 40-60lbs in a couple of months - but once someone starts eating even normal again (non junk), then they will just rebound and gain MOST of it back.

Which sucks.

Pretty accurate right here.

OP, you will lose alot in the first week just by eating three clean meals per day whilst cutting out sodas and alcohol.

Then it's just keeping to your new diet and incorporating cardio to get your fitness level up. I also recommend calisthenics/ weight training to give you a boost. Workout 4-5 times per week with an emphasis on cardio and you will shed heaps of fat by June. Especially considering how overweight you are right now.

Stop over complicating this. "tap into my fat stores", just LOL. Just starting eating correctly, drink plenty of water and ditch any alchohol, soft drinks and be consistent with training.

Meal frequency is a constantly debated topic but generally, for the average person trying to get in shape it does not matter if you eat 2 meals a day or 6 as long as you're hitting the required caloric and macro needs.

Of course 6 meals vs 1 meal will make a difference- calories in vs out has largely been disproven. This is about HOMONES

This is why you'll never lose weight. You are too busy on a bodybuilding form asking dumb questions while having no clue what you're talking about. I don't know what a HOMONE is, but your hormones are out of whack because you're obese and unhealthy.

Calories in versus Calories out is the fundamental principle behind EVERY. SINGLE. DIET. Does not matter if its Keto, Paleo, Carnivore, IIFYM, or Intermittent Fasting.
