For sure, man. It sucks that I let myself go like that but hopefully i'm at the stage where a person start to look bigger as they get leaner. between 13-17% losing weight doesn't seem to make a visual difference all that much.

Now that i'm down to 15% body fat each pound or two lost should make a noticeable difference. I don't care about body weight so will gladly cut into the low to mid 150's if I have to.

The picture doesn't show it (poverty Galaxy S5) but my arms/hands definitely have some vascularity. feelsgood to feel/see the lower stomach veins coming through too.

And no double/triple chin anymore, that's probably the best part lmao

you look great. Your traps/shoulders and chest are overpowering your arms in my opinion though.

i'd focus on hitting your arms 2-3 times a week. Nothing insane, but 3-4 sets of tricep/biceps after (or at the beginning) of lifting.

and that's me being nitpicky since you asked for it. I'd be ecstatic to look like you.

She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

Yeah my arms a huge weakness! I am really trying to bring them up now, and I appreciate that. Grats on the cut man, I know that struggle but keep going, looking great.

Lol I know those feels. Nothing to worry about.

In fact, the day after eating a ton of carbs is a great time to hit the gym. Get a bigger pump than usual.

doing my first what seems successful cut ever. it's really disheartening though to see how much was actually fat and how much is muscle. have had do drop 15lbs to see abs and then i think i need to drop another 5 to really see them fleshed out. 180-160lbs

Yes, we are fatter than we think and have less muscle than we would want.

Dear Diary,

Hold me boyos, I dislocated a rib at the gym on Tuesday. Obviously haven't lifted since then. Stayed on my diet all the way until yesterday anyway but binged on like 5k cals lol (hnghhh chocolate bar, massive amount of peanut butter on caramel rice cakes).

Terrible timing to get hurt though. I was finally in a good groove of consistently hitting the gym at least 3 times a week and doing cardio on days that I didn't go. Finally started to see some results in my physique.

Probably out of the gym for another 2 weeks or so. Probably just do low intensity walking on some trails near my house in the beautiful Northwest to stay in a modicum of shape.

Sincerely,
Hiimnotcool

Mirin, cuts indeed go well for you brother.

I did not even started but if everything goes well I will spend my holidays in Jotunheimen park so no cut needed

Lol 5K kcal, when you cheat, you cheat that is for sure.

Joke aside man, I wish you a prompt recovery. I know it sucks big time but don't worry too much about it, you gonna get back in no time.

Best regards brother, take care of yourself and have a nice Easter.

Are you reducing your calorie intake while off from lifting?

Where in the great PNW?

Yeah I'm going to reduce. I have a FitBit Charge HR 3 which makes knowing how much I can eat effortless. Been using it for months and has been super accurate. Been averaging 2100-2300/day so probably have to reduce to 1800-2000.

I'm planning on taking a full week off then going to see if I can possibly work around it.

I'm in the Puget Sound area, West of Seattle by ferry. About 5 miles away from Bangor Naval Base. Bremerton/Silverdale/Poulsbo area.

Weighed in expecting a large increase from all the carbs/fat/sodium yesterday but only .2 pounds over my lowest weigh in last week. At least that's out of my system and I can go back to tracking.

After a very tragic incident in my family I let myself rest a few days and not care about summer shredz. But I feel like it‘s best to go on with my goals now and am back on track again.

Crazy, since I haven't been lifting while healing up my appetite isn't high at all. Finding it pretty easy to eat 1700-2000 calories a day. Diet soda is a champ. Had the new orange vanilla diet coke today and it was delicious.

Anyways, one week exactly since dislocating a rib. Feeling a bit better every day. Probably gonna go to my apartment complex gym in the next few days and do a light workout. Has DB's up to 30 pounds, a cable row/pulldown station and a flat/incline/shoulder press machine.

Hit a new low weigh in of this cut today. Down .4 pounds. Not much but I'll take it.
