Aliens almost certainly exist. Our solar system has pre-conditions for life everywhere we poke around. There's 100 billion+ stars in the galaxy so that's a lot of places life might start. That'sonegalaxy so yeah.

Because stars and entire galaxies are magnitudes larger and brighter than planets and blackholes reflect no light at all so all we can see is the light and gas around it

not really. the basic premise of the fermi paradox is:

given the high statistical probability that alien life exists, why do we not have evidence of it?

1. maybe we do but our (or whoever's) gov doesnt disclose it
3. humans have only been around for about a nanosecond - we have very little evidence of literally anything
4. aliens could have visited millions (or billions) of years in the past
5. space is huge. its possible that aliens are all over the place and they don't even know earth exists
6. time is relative

I'm pretty sure we actually do. CBA to look it up, but there's a ton of chit out there where pilots have seen UFOs and stuff. A lot of it was kept a secret for a long time, but it's out there if you look for it. Like there's enough evidence out there where enough people have seen UFOs that even skeptics can't really deny, it's just no one really cares too much seemingly.

Now why aliens don't just land here and make contact with us, that's the real question to consider.
