It'll be interesting to see how high they let the charges go. We have texts that literally say "the white house is running this." Obama was fully complicit, but would they be willing to go after a former president? Or will they take a few fall guys from the IC and call it a day. Time will tell.

The punt was a cabal move. He had no case. If he did, they would have brought it forward. Instead of ending it outright, he shifted the burden from the prosecutor the to one accused... turning it into a political issue for the dems in the house to salivate over. While also putting Barr in a position to be the adult, which would make the MSM call him out as being in trumps back pocket.

Barr made a smart choice in keep rosensteins ass around to sign off as well. It takes away their narrative. They want to paint barr as doing trumps political dirty work so they can spin the indictments that are coming.

The SC is there to reach decisions about indictments. If they have a case, they indict. If they don't, then they wont indict. Show one other time where a SC said "were placing the burden of proof on the accused and because we couldn't definitely prove his innocence, we're going to defer the decision."

I'll wait. That's not how it works. No indictment= insufficient evidence of even have probable cause to bring to trial.
