2nd fostering successfully completed. Watching them go off to their new forever home is always so bittersweet.

Ok doggo lovers, I need your collective good thoughts. Tonight I was rubbing my boos belly and felt a lump under his front leg. It's definitely a hard lump and it's only that one leg. My ex's black lab got cancer there. I'm really scared. I'll be calling the vet tomorrow to get him checked out so if you have any good thoughts to send our way I'd really appreciate it.

Took my boo to the vet tonight to get that lump checked out. Thank God it is just a fatty lump. I did google the next day after finding it and saw that over half of lumps on doggos are non cancerous so it actually did make me feel better and able to get through the week til tonight. I am so thankful it's nothing serious. Losing him would destroy me.

My boo turned 8 years old today. I'm not even home to spoil him. I feel like such a bad dog mom.

Is that something that's typical in boxers? I know most bigger dogs can have issues. I need to start my boo on glucosamine type supplements to hopefully prevent anything or at least delay it.~ In a world where you can be anything, be kind ~
