Guy has a pistol. My wife needs a fraction of a second to get an AR.

Unless he gets a cns shot, my wife can probably get me the 3 blocks to the hospital. The guy probably won't survive a 5.56 magdump though.

Alternatively, it’s a solid possibility you’ll watch him kill the person you love then kill you. How do you know he isn’t there to do exactly that? The ONLY option is to kill him ASAP.

Realistically, i guess youre lucky its 2 on 1.

The real bad scenario would be if the intruders out numbered you

But i guess with your wife there. As long as you trust your wife would know what to do/ is capable of at least wrestling with the guy

You could get his focus on you by doing chit. Assuming youre far away enough not to just get blasted away by the guy

Cause if you take the attention away from her and he tries to shoot, maybe your wife knocks him and he misses. But youd have to trust that you and your wife were in sync

Or i guess he could just blast away your wife

But as i said. Its actually a better scenario than could be. E.g. 5 guys and 3 are holding you and 2 are on your wife

I have motion sensing cameras which ring my phone every time someone gets within 25 feet of my door. I also always lock my exterior doors, and my bedroom door, and I have a safe with a G19 and 3 loaded magazines plus one magazine in the gun, I also keep the safe open at night.

I think the best situation would be if the wife gets in position, then grabs the guys arm and aims it away giving the husband the chance to rush him.

You're right though, if it was 3-4 intruders... oh lawd that would be hell, wonder if the guys ITT who would attempt to rush would do it in that situation.
