Worked out with a friend when he revoked his natty card for the first time. Watched him blow up like a balloon and once he got off he shot back down to reality. His lifts went up like crazy and dude was killin it in the gym srsly. After he got off tho it was extremely depressing for me to hear him always talking about gear and how he needs it but he’s just waiting for his trainer to let him know. When I worked out with him when he was off he couldn’t even finish the workouts sometimes. He’s back on again but haven’t trained with him in a while due to conflicting schedules.

Why is TRT cheating but getting 8-9 hours of sleep and avoiding stress not cheating?

They all seem like lifestyle choices to me.

Those of you who have an issue with someone choosing to do it a different way than you are the only real losers.

Imagine being in your 40’s and thinking the world should be fair.

Your friend seems weak-minded if he cant even finish workouts while he is off.

I'm amazed this is still open, but maybe theres hope for the misc yet

You know how women give you an answer that's half the real number when you ask them how many dicks they've had? Well that's the same with gym rats. TRT is 99% of the time a euphemism for small bicycle ride with added goodies

No one in this silly hobby is capable of telling the truth, which is fine but there are still retards who believe them

I didn't lift back then, but a long time ago I tore an intercostal muscle playing hockey. I spent a few weeks being fairly immobile, and my doctor prescribed 'it' to me for two weeks or so. My strength came back...started playing again, running, honestly felt 'on fire' the whole time. At the end of the two weeks my doctor asked: "How do you feel?"

I said (srs): "Like a God. Can I have more?" and he laughed and mentioned this is why they were controlled. I was 22 or so at the time rampaging through uni and already on a natural high. I can imagine why your friend talked about it. Now 17 years later and I can still remember the feeling.

But these DYEL ****s who get on gear so they can look good but don't even bother with a legitimate routine? 100% losers.

It's funny how both of you put your nattiness up on some moral high ground and like to compare this by how much weight you can lift ect ect...

First would like to point out the obvious that not everybody training does so for absolute strength... I personally don't care how much I can push/pull on any given lift... I train for size , shape, and overall appearance as do many others...

Second, TRT is way more than just trying to put on muscle to give the natty's something to complain about every day (although it is quite amusing at times). If somebody legitimately has low testosterone it affects every facet of your life not just the ability to put on and retain LBM. I wont bother digging into the other aspects as they are easily obtained via Google.

Yeah he said he felt like a god on it. The way he talked about it made me want to take it tbh. Cause when he got off his lifts started getting weaker than mine lol.

Quote the part where I did that plz. I said specifically that A LOT of dudes use gear because they're lazy and I have no respect for them whatsoever. IDGAF if someone wants to ride a bike, that's their prerogative; there's no moral question here. I DO have a problem with laziness, though, and gear is a shortcut for many of these lazy people.

No excuses here. I'm very happy with the way I look although I am trying to drop a couple of pounds right now. Are people on TRT natty or not? I don't really have a strong opinion on it either way but what I do know is that eating a couple of king size candy bars before you take the test will significantly drop your levels so that they can appear lower than they actually are. I see what you're saying, I've literally seen guys who literally REFUSE to train hard at all, idk why, seems weird to me (extreme laziness??)

Natty in the sense do they produce test naturally? No they aren’t natty

Natty in the sense the lifting world uses to define someone outside of a natural range? Then yeah they fall in the natty category.

TRT users (done properly) have no advantage over someone who has naturally high/normal test levels

They’re in a deficiency otherwise. This is like complaining diabetics aren’t natural because they need insulin.

Maybe it just came across wrong as I read it...idk. but will whole heartedly agree with laziness which honestly there is no amount of gear that will fix that. I agree with everything you said and I'm not sure why anyone would put up with the hell that is low T levels just to claim "natty" status but there are always going to be a group of people that will consider any synthetic T in your body to be non natty

Not everyone cares about training for years on end on a highly specific program. Calculating percentages, progressive over-load, deloads, etc. They don't want weigh/measure/track their food obsessively every day. They want to enjoy a burger, pizza, beer on a regular occasion, etc. They just want to get in the gym and lift in a manner that's enjoyable and have a physique that's aesthetic.

You can spend hours on end each week obsessing over your optimal workout plan that puts on the optimal amount of strength/size. For an entire lifetime. But to what end? The guy that goes enhanced can achieve their goals in a 1/4 of the time if not faster. You can literally spend 30 years chasing a dream/goal and never achieve it as a natty. Whereas with the same hard work, dedication and a little supplementation you achieve that goal in 3-5 years and easily maintain it for the following 25 years.

At the end of the day its a personal choice. Some people choose to achieve their goal and life the life they want and are willing to do what's necessary to do so. Other's are willing to grind for years on end to never realize their full potential or achieve their goals. If the process is what you love and the outcome isn't as important then staying natty just makes more sense.

I won't even get into genetic or other limiting factors. Life isn't fair. Some guys can just barely touch weights and eat whatever and have a better physique/strength level then guys that grind for 10+ years.

Only time I consider it cheating is if they enter a drug tested competition when there are untested options. In pro sports obviously nobody can come out and say they are riding, but there is no excuse imo for entering a tested powerlifting or bodybuilding show when there are plenty of untested options to choose from. Other than those very specific instances I'm all for folks jumping on bicycles, makes for more entertaining contest.

Yeah, sorry if it came off wrong. My point about being stronger was that I don't even see the point of gear if you're not even going to exceed natties because you're too lazy to bother actually lifting. I've seen lazy ass dudes on gear struggle with weights that were easy for me all because they couldn't be bothered to stick to a real strength program and instead were chatting up girls in the gym. A buddy of mine uses gear and is way stronger than me, doesn't bother me because I see how much effort he puts into his workouts.

Didnt see this until KenKong quoted it. Please don't write "no one". I have been at it around 2 years now and am still barely a novice. But I spent the two years in a gym so never needed to believe the "how to easily triple your deadlift and see your abs in 2 months" garbage. Anyone who actually goes to a gym knows the truth. But it doesn't mean we cannot enjoy the hobby.

Keep telling yourself that

First would like to point out the obvious that not everybody training does so for absolute strength... I personally don't care how much I can push/pull on any given lift... I train for size , shape, and overall appearance as do many others...

Second, TRT is way more than just trying to put on muscle to give the natty's something to complain about every day (although it is quite amusing at times). If somebody legitimately has low testosterone it affects every facet of your life not just the ability to put on and retain LBM. I wont bother digging into the other aspects as they are easily obtained via Google.
It's because being a true natty is like the ultimate high, that is of course, if you actually achieved a high level of success as a true natty (otherwise being a true natty sucks)

This is the absolute truth. When you hit your 40's (or even earlier) and feel like crap all day, low motivation, low sex drive, moody, etc. it's an awful, continuous feeling.
If more men understood what true TRT was, I'm convinced there would be alot less depression, soy-boyness and all around wasting away of the male population, True TRT only gets your levels back to the normal range, so that you don't feel horrible all the time. And there are some other things that can help with estrogen maintenance, etc. so that you honestly feel more like you did in your 20's, and not like you're 110 years old.
