whoever decided it was a good idea to shorten the final seasons needs to be blacklisted from hollywood outright. this show needed 10 seasons, not 6+2 dinked seasons.

The Night King marching south should have been an entire season and then the Cersei confrontation+the spring should have been another season. not 3 episodes total.

Let me try and pull your point from your scathingly edgelord comment that made me reel so hard I literally flew into a wall. You're saying that you wanted the Night King dying to be the closure of the series, he wasn't. Then you say you weren't happy about a kid being the one to kill the Night King because it wasn't realistic enough for you.

First of all, what else could you want done with the Night King? He killed a dragon and brought it back from the dead and rode it into a battle against other dragons, how do you give more satisfaction than that? We had a movie length battle with dragons and the biggest Armies in the world and it somehow wasn't enough because trebuchets were in the wrong place and some soldiers were on the wrong side of a pit? It would be unreasonable to expect 3+ hours worth of episodes to be dedicated to a single battle, it would get boring.

As for Aryia, we got occasional glimpses into what happened to her over the course of 10+ years in world time, what we did see was her training with the most renowned swordsman in the world, living hard on the streets, killing people, learning from the most deceptive and strategically smart person in the world in the form of Tywin Lannister, learning from a master assassin while living on the streets, forming a relationship and learning from one of the most brutal enforcers in the Seven Kingdoms then living on the streets blind and training with the Waif and spending more time with an assassin to a god to the point that she could wipe out an entire house by wearing the face of its leader. You should be able to read between the lines there and assume that she learned a lot more over the course of almost a decade that we didn't see.

To the East of the GoT world is a place called the dead wastes in Asshai, where people like Melisandre come from. Its not uncommon for people there to wield magic, Melisandre's magic was basic bish mud hut magic compared to the chit that comes from there. Jaqan clearly showed Arya some of that for her to be able to make use of peoples faces the way she does so it isn't too unreasonable to expect her to be able to sneak her way past a fukking zombie with its back turned (who was expecting a dragon to be guarding the only entry way to the Elder Wood, which Jon distracted for Arya to slip by) using some of that training. They can use peoples faces to literally become that person using magic but its out of the realm of possibility that they can't use that same level of magic to become undetectable for a short time?

How hard do you need it spoon fed to you? They showed Jaqan do it, then they showed the Waif do it, then they showed Arya do it in the same episode she used it to kill the Night King.

The "little girl 360 no scope" learned from the most underhanded, smart, devious, dangerous and vicious people in the world for the better part of a decade. I think she was probably more equipped to kill the Night King with a stroke of lucky opportunity than a regular guy with a sword in a field.

So no, I don't think you do understand the basic concept of what a story is. 'If I didn't explicitly see it then it didn't happen and is stupid' isn't how it works. There are parts of story telling that are open to interpretation,you're supposed to figure some of it out on your own and the writer won't always fill in the blanks for you.

looks like I am the only one who liked the Episode, lol

- Jon's speech was really good, it was something his character would have said, no fancy chit, because he is not exactly silver-tongued
- Bronn was exactly what a cutthroat should be, and him reminding them that this is how some of the big families came to power was a good reality-check for Jaime/Tyrion
- They gave Ghost a better send-off than just "well, died in the dark", poor beaten down puppy :[
- Jon is framed pretty well as the tragic hero (stuck between a rock and a hard place), as he must be true to himself, but also wants to do right by Daenerys, there is basically no good option left, Bran giving him the option of saying or not made it a good fork in the story and decisive moment

Criticism
- Brienne/Jaime was chit, it was a silly payoff on Brienne crushing on him, Jaime respected her, a pity-fuk is really a terrible choice, especially if he turns around 8 hours later and rides of to Cersei, who just sent Bronn after her
- Daenerys really didn't think about circling the Eurons fleet in safe distance and burn them up from behind? Their ballistas were front-mounted, what were they gonna do? Shoot through their own masts? Also I doubt they have full clearance, so ... just come from straight up?

Cliffs: if you want the show to be good, you have to write your own script because the one the show runners wrote is terrible
