I cannot stand what Tyrion has become. He's like a shell of his former self. I think we all hold onto hope that he somehow gets back to the smart, witty, politically savvy Imp that we grew to love in seasons 1-4. I've never been so heartbroken over a characters non-death before.
This. That scene was all sorts of wrong. One, who gives a **** about what the people see? Nobody in King's Landing matters. Two, Tywin would have murdered every last person standing outside the gates and Cersei knows that. Cersei would want to do what Tywin does because she has mad daddy issues. Three, Tyrion has always believed that Cersei (like Tywin) wants him dead. She believes that he killed her mother and, obviously, he killed their father. Cersei abused Tyrion when he was a baby. Cersei accused him of murder and demanded his execution. She asked Jaime to kill him. And so on.

It really is too bad D&D didn't have GRRM's fully-realized story to work with -- who knows if it'll ever be finished by the author himself. But most of us probably wouldn't even be aware of him or his books if it weren't for D&D, so there's that

lol @ the Starbucks cup. Their teams must have been under fukn insane pressure / tight schedule to make a mistake like that

I would love this. For some reason I wondered the same thing. What is in the sky? And there was a dragon roar as he looked in fear.

He isn't afraid of dragons as we've seen. Only thing I could think is Dany found some more dragons somewhere, or she and Drogon are carrying a boulder and dropping it directly onto Euron and his ship, which is what she could've done with 2 dragons. But her advisors aren't really contributing any new or good ideas anymore.

My thinking was that Cersei didn't attack Dany / Tyrion etc because Drogon was in the background. Even if they managed to take Drogon down with the scropions, the entire group on the wall there wouldn't be surviving and I doubt they would have counted on taking down Drogon. Killing Missandei was the limit of what they could do without bringing on Dany / Drogon's wrath right then and there

Just noticed the scorpions at King's Landing are also different from the ones on Euron's ships

Euron's looked beastlier and had an X pattern on the front, these look the same as the type that momentarily stunned Drogon in the Loot Train attack

Cersei & co. were perfectly willing to let Ned take the Black and leave, but since they didn't think of putting a leash on Joffrey, the salty sociopath ordered Ilyn Payne to behead him, and they couldn't overrule him in the open. It was an in-character move for everyone.

Similar with the Red Wedding.

Now it's very obvious, that they START with the "twist" and then work their way backwards and try to make sense of it. Which of course is bs as they just throw out any and all build-up and previous characterization.
I think at this point it's obvious that GotNext is on the spectrum somewhere and doesn't understand why socially-aware people realize how weird the writing is.

It's like people who accepted the dialogue in the Star Wars prequels unironically and then were confused to find out everyone had been cringing the whole time.

Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

The dumbest thing about the ballistas is that those arrows will slow down to almost nothing shot over such a large distance.

1) They are mechanically loaded. Their initial velocity can only be so high.
2) They face air resistance for several seconds (this is a large arrow we're talking about, not a bullet) and are shot upward like 100 meters. They are not going to be traveling that fast by the time they hit the dragon.

At point blank range I could see the arrow killing/hurting the dragon. Not how it appeared in the show unless the dragons are complete pushovers.

I must admit, I kinda expected Cersei to have a scorpion shot through the back of her Hand just to kill Tyrion, but it played out "better" this way.

Tyrion talked to Qyburn as if they were equals at first, asking him to prevent what was happening. But you can't have a dialogue with a a mere messenger, so why Qyburn says he is only a mouthpiece, Tyrion steps forward to talk to the only person who has any real power in these negotiations. Also Cersei knew by now that it was the Tyrells who killed Joffrey (and she is basically responsible for Tommen dying ... well, and kinda also for Myrcella, now that I think about it), so less reason to hate Tyrion (except being an imp and their mother dying during his birth).

For any last words you could utter in that moment, I think Dracaris was a good choice for Missandei.

One subtle thing I liked: they switched the make-up for Dany up and it looked like they added red around her eyes, which made it look like she cried her eyes or or is going insane, quite fitting.

The dialog was cringy in the prequels but they are 100x better than episode 7 and 8. The only new stars wars movie I've enjoyed is Rouge One

I felt like at that point he is more concerned with Varys premonition not becoming reality (and/or giving Varys reasons to not stage a coup / kill Dany). Tyrion-vs-Varys could be a pretty cool part of the story, shame they had Varys stashed away for so long, he was one of the most intriguining characters early on.

I was just thinking- after all these complaints about skipping the Jon reveal to his sisters. That part must have been cut out for a reason. I’m betting, Jon, creepy bro and his sisters came up with some kind of idea during that meeting and will be bringing Dany down. I might watch this last episode to see if there’s any clues. Why else skip it? Would Sansa really run off to Tyrion and spill the beans that fast? She must have gotten some honor from her father. Just a hunch, or I’m hoping for too much still haha

-brb finally have Tyrion and Bran talking, "mostly I live in the past" and rolls away. Cool story bro we definitely didn't want to hear about wtf you were doing during the battle or NK backstory

-"now which one of you cowards chit in my pants", lmfaoo Tormund carrying the episode again

-The hound turning down fresh poosay, ******* confirmed. Even Sansa was like 'wtf you gayboi'

-"pls don't tell Sansa Mr. Snowtarg, she will 100% use it to try and fuk me over and install you on the throne" "nah she's fam she wouldn't do such a thing".... Jon being a dumbfuk again.

-Sansa being a grade A kunt as per usual. What a dumb emotional twat.

-Bronn doing paid cutthroat things, das it

Here's where it all goes to chit....

-Ghost gets absolutely shafted. Injured fighting and then abandoned by his long time partner bro without even so much as a pat on the head, the fuk are you smoking you dumbfuk writers

-They sail to dragonstone, right near kings landing, knowing full fukking well that Euron's fleet is in the area after transporting the golden company cause they just talked about it at the war council. No scouts sent ahead to make sure it's safe. The dragons are hundreds of feet in the air and somehow don't see bigass black sailed ships hanging out close enough to snipe a dragon.

-Euron the gay edgelord pirate takes down a goddamn dragon with 3 for 3 ballista shots, while it's flying, and they're firing from ships bobbing in the goddamn ocean, and while they are "hiding" behind a mountain island that they only sail out from under after the 3 shots. Hey writers, go choke on a cawk.

-She doesn't just fly around behind them and bbq them from where they can't fire on her. No, she just rage charges directly at them and then fukks off.

-Brb some exaggerated spears literally tear apart ships built with thick af timber, like they are fukking railguns or something. And they reload in about 3.5 seconds apparently.

-Brb somehow Missandrei is taken captive in all that chaos, found in the water and snagged up by Euron. Go fuk yourselves writers.

-Jamie's redemption arc looks like it just got skullfukked by these two genius writers

-The dragonqueen and her hand and generals/advisors all gather right in fukking front of the kingslanding wall with like 50 unsullied, well within reach of those ballistas and prob normal arrows. Cersei would've killed them all instantly along with the dragon since apparently they are made of paper mache and ballistas are railguns, dumb fuk writers.

Can't believe how goddamn awful this writing is. Oh wait, I can, because HBO decided to hand the end of this GOAT show to the writers responsible for Wolverine:Origins.

At this point I feel like you have too much hope considering how hastly D&D have wrapped things up, but I found it odd that they showed Jon insisting on Arya and Sansa swearing - then Sansa playing Gossip Girl. Thanks to Littlefinger she is no longer a "little bird" as she reminded the Hound, so we should expect her to be more crafty with these things, no?

Arya must still be in play too, otherwise why send her off with no purpose? She still has her list after all. Remaining names: The Hound (nice travel companion you got there), The Mountain (well, they are both on their way to visit him), Cersei, Ilyn Payne (I think only in the books, because they kinda wrote him out of the show when the actor got terminal cancer ... he survived btw, yay).

That - overall - was a cool scene. Remember in Season 1 Littlefinger used to run a brothel and use the whores to sway people or get information? Sansa walking around like a brothel Madame and sending those two girls for Podrick and the Hound reminded me of yet another similarity.

Bran made it out to be pretty important that Jon was notified about his birth right before more **** went down. A lot could have happened in that convo with him knowing things we don’t. I’m assuming they’ll wrap **** up by having bran know the answers to all our questions. I’m glad I haven’t invested years in to this haha. Binged the whole show these past few months.

Also Cersei knew by now that it was the Tyrells who killed Joffrey (and she is basically responsible for Tommen dying ... well, and kinda also for Myrcella, now that I think about it),so less reason to hate Tyrion (except being an imp and their mother dying during his birth).
He directly killed Tywin. I would be paraphrasing here as I can't remember the exact line, but when Jamie is defending Tyrion Cersei states this and says it's allowed people to come in and pick apart their family like vultures. If Tywin still was alive then her other two children could still be alive in Cersei's eyes.

Best part of last episode was Jamie's flawless execution of the D.E.N.N.I.S. system. Production, as always great, but just so rushed and so lazy.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I thought Bran's storyline was fine until Season 7, when Bran suddenly felt the need to inform Jon about his heritage. It would have made more sense for Bran, or the 3-eyed-raven to not give a fuk about worldly things (the Game of Thrones), and only use his greenseer abilities for his one and only goal: stopping the Long Night / the Night King.

Jon didn't need to know about being a Targaryen for chit to play out like it did in Winterfell either, so now suddenly it looks like Bran (who really isn't Bran any longer) has a vested interest in Jon sitting on the Iron Throne, when that was never part of his character. Meh ..

Not salty in the least, my man. Just saving a bro some time trying to reason with a person who doesn't realize that normal humans form strong primal bonds and seem weird to others when they lack even subtle emotional reactions regarding them.

Savage as fuark. Someone should Photoshop his head into the D.E.N.N.I.S. scene.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Ghost has been irrelevant for many seasons now lol
The difference is the fan service that is being shown now is being done to the complete detriment of the characters long standing personalities. They are totally changing the story of each character just to please the SJW's.

Whereas with Ghost and Jon, they completely changed Jon's normal behavior towards Ghost to NOT show fan service. Jon went from someone completely in love with his dog, so that an emotional sendoff made total sense, to someone who acted as if he could care less....which made no sense.

Nope. Lmao @ this shows writing.
Because he sees about 1,000 different futures at any one time if I understood it correctly.

Yet when Sansa asks him why he supports Dany, he goes blank, herp derp "I believe in her?" I'm thinking, wtf after 2 seasons of seeing what Dany is about, actually being there at her side and witnessing, you can't muster a few words on Dany's behalf?

Not that he needed to, Dany did save Winterfell's arse. She should've just attacked KL in season 7 like she wanted to, and let the WW kill the idiots in the North.

Now we just going to have sex between characters all over the place?
That's how I know we have dumb TV show writers wrapping things up. Anytime ideas have run out, default plan is to add sex scenes between main characters. Next we'll see Arya and Brienne together laughing about how they are 100% sure of being lesbos.

Speaking of Tyrion and Cersei, you know the real Cersei would have let arrows fly towards Tyrion. But maybe she's changed her heart since she knows it was Lady Tyrell who poisoned Joffrey.

Jon Snow can't keep a fukin secret either. got dayum.

lmao jumping of a dragon.
Tyrion is clearly split. So he gave a vague answer. He's spent the last however many years at her side and is only now seeing her unravel. Of course he's going to be a bit undecisive.

She should've attacked KL in S7. lol. Ned shouldn't have gone down to KL in season 1 but he did...

Cersei still has a love for her family even if she wants to give the impression she doesn't. She's not 100% a cold killing monster, as we've seen. They had an intimate scene a few seasons back where she could have had him executed and she didn't. But I thought it was dumb of Tyrion, and his speech wasn't very convincing.

Jon was gagging to tell his family, we already saw that in his convo with Dany...

Honestly I think some people here just want to pick it apart and they're getting enjoyment out of it by doing so. You could go through every episode since the the beginning and pick holes in it.
