I found fat thor to be hilarious, I suspect he will be back to normal in the next film, Thor has always had a strong comical relief aspect IMO, especially in Ragnarok, which stands as my favorite film of the franchise.

I'd say Cap is probably my second favorite. Thor is my favorite, which is why I disliked how they portrayed him in this movie. The comic relief was too much in this one for me.

They did too much to Thor's character. I feel like throughout the entire Marvel story line they were worried that Thor could be perceived as too powerful so they decided to make jabs at his character instead. But with him getting fat and sloppy... just didn't match up

I thought the movie was pretty boring. I kept looking at the clock to see when it would be over.

Hard to believe this is what passes as a good movie these days.

And just lol a the SJWing of Captain America to a black guy.

I think they fuked Thor up (and also Hulk) to re-balance the powerlevels amongst the heroes, in favor of Captain Marvel (and a little Iron Man and Captain America).

Clearly the whole Captain Marvel movie was a chitty "girl power" thing. Want to see it done the right way? Wonder Woman. Even the ordinary men in that movie are not weak for the sake of being weak, or potatos - they are simply ordinary and she is not, and you don't get the feeling that its fukin gender-warfare.

And when they tied it back to Justice League, for all the issues that movie had, they didn't nerf Batman or Superman.

Thor and Hulk are supposed to be the strongest avengers ... seeing fat Thor and Hulk hide in a Hulkbuster armor ... shame.

It did. Plus why would he give Captain America, the beacon of morality and patriotism, to a perceived and known terrorist in Bucky. He killed American citizens. Even though he was under mind control, still not morally worthy to carry that mantle. Falcon has been a good soldier and right hand man to cap for the movies.

It was funny at first, and I could have been fine with it if they let off through the rest of the movie after the first scene in Asgard, but literally every scene after is him needing another drink and really digging into it. Or at least it felt that way. It was when he went back with Rocket and wandered off where I really slunk back and was like "ok, enough. We get it." Thankfully he started to at least turn around from that point, but didn't really make a full comeback for the finale. Although he did look pretty bad ass dual wielding and suited up.

Watched this the other day and it was decent. Like IW more but not bad. The one thing that I didn’t understand was why the writers didn’t expand Scarlet Witch’s role (perhaps even giving her her own movie) rather than shoehorning Captain Marvel into things so late. SW seems powerful as hell too and I feel like the audience and other heroes at least have some connection to her. Missed opportunity there I think.

She's the only one that really did damage to Thanos in that last battle. Really odd how they don't give her much of a role.

Did you miss the part where she broke his vibranium shield carving sword in half and then peeled Thanos's OP af armor off like he was an orange?

All CM did was transport Tony and Nebula to earth and then do her ship-blasting thing at the end. When she tried to get THanos he palmed the power stone and knocked her block off.

That's the thing. How can Falcon compete as an ordinary human compared to an upgraded bucky/steve. His armor? So he's a pseudo iron man/captain america hybrid now? That's perfectly but hopefully they give him some sort of serum equivalent
