Crazy how GoFundMe has exposed so many pieces of sh*t. A site that was designed to do so much good is being used by thieves and people that want somebody else to pay for sh*t they want. I know a guy that made a GoFundMe to pay for a $600 tattoo he wanted. He has nothing wrong with him, just wants somebody else to pay for it. Thankfully he made no money on it.

I took the GoFundMe for what it was a symbol that there was a strong desire and backing for the wall fully expecting that everyone would receive their donated funds back because it wouldn't move forward. I'm kind of surprised by the lack of refunds provided by GoFundMe based on the articles ITT. That should probably end up in court somewhere along the line.

It says if you didn't ask to have your money sent to the org it was auto refunded. Sounds like the opposite of what was claimed in this thread.

"If you donated before January 11, 2019, and do not let GoFundMe know that you want your donation to be sent to We Build The Wall Inc, you will be automatically refunded on April 11, 2019."
