That was the only good part about the entire episode - Jon pet Ghost. The rest of it was laughable. It was a complete sidestep from previous seasons and went against everything that made this show what it was.
- Bran talks about how he can't be Lord of Winterfell (or anything for that matter as he is Three-Eyed Raven), brb he accepts the position as King even stating "Why do you think I came all this way?"
- Arya decides to turn into Christopher Columbus and randomly set sail to the further-west
- Without any question the North gets segregation from Seven Kingdoms but no one else thinks to asks and just accepts it and goes "ok"
- Cercei and Jaime get crushed by rubble yet somehow Tyrion is able to get in there, see their bodies and there is rubble under them?
I can go on and on, but it wouldn't achieve much. Fact of the matter is, this season was a complete letdown and they had two years to perfect it. I don't doubt that there will be many similarities to what GRRM has in mind, but it came down to execution. The writing this season was lazy, rushed and completely void of logic and intellect.
It catered to looking pretty and trying to wrap-up the series.

What a shame.
First off, there is no fuking way the Unsullied wouldn't just kill Jon for what he did. The Unsullied are not afraid of war, plus they have the Dothraki on their side so there is not way in hell they lose that battle against the North men and whoever else they can muster up.
They made Bran king LOL. Makes absolutely no sense.
Sansa is the WORST character. The whole point of the North wanting to be independent from the Seven Kingdoms is because they didn't trust them. Now that Bran is ruler, Sansa has no reason not to trust her own brother. She basically just wanted to rule the North. And I hate her smug attitude.
The highlight of the episode was Jon finally petting Ghost.
All said and done, I'm gonna miss coming into this thread and chitting on this show with you guys. Fuk D&D

Are people really mad about Arya sailing off? She mentioned it in one of the previous seasons that she wanted to explore "West of Westeros".

Emilia Clarke was legit the best part of this season, and I still had some level of feels when she got stabbed. Will make rewatches a sad experience.

The real question I have is...
Why didn't Jon just marry Daenerys and rule with her as king and queen? No matter what body part he would think with; dick, head, or heart, it was a good idea. Let's look at the pros and cons:
Pros:
-Daenerys gets to be queen just like she wanted.
-Jon gets to be King just as the story built him up to be and solves the whole "rightful heir to the throne" plot.
-Jon bangs Daenerys, so she doesn't go psycho. We all know that not getting laid makes people do crazy things.
-Jon gets to smash Daenerys. She's hot so that's a total win for him.
-They're in love, so getting married is a good idea.
Cons:
-Incest, but they already smashed so this one is minor.

You guys gotta call it like it is. They were working off very complex, well written source material... And they decided to finish it up on their own with limited time. Not a surprise the story ended up being a total disaster. Martin May end up taking the story down a very similar path, but the journey there will be better and make way more sense.
