It has violence and good fight scenes for guys that like things that go boom
It has Brad Pitt for the ladies
It has history for the academic
It has great cinematography for the movie buff
It has interesting characters and dialog for those that like character structure
It has hot females for men
It has a high repeat watch value who want a bang for their buck
Its a love story
Its a war story
Its a revenge story
Its a story about family
Its a story about ancient religious beliefs
Its a story about family and children
Its a story about the dynamics of infidelity
etc
etc

Pretty much has something for everyone...
