I liked my x-five and the p320's and just picked up a p365, I just don't see any reason to go with a p226 for that amount of money when there are better options in that price range unless it's for nostalgia purposes.

Just go full size since the p01 isn’t a super practical carry gun.

Can't go wrong with the P-01/SP-01, but I would also suggest looking in to the P-07/P-09. P-07 is my favorite polymer gun to shoot at the moment. (I didn't say "best" Farley, just favorite)

Just finished up changing the expansion tank on the Ducati. I hate working on motorcycles.

About to take it for a spin to make sure it's all good then hop on the other bike and go get that TX22.

Currently I have a Rogue monster light. It's bolted down. It is not on top of mats, there are not mats around it. I built a typical 8'x8' three layer platform (bottom two plywood, top is ply running down the middle and stall mats at the side where the plates land) and put it up against the front of the rack. Then I built an equal height 3 layer (all plywood) inner platform to sit inside the rack that's flush with the main outer platform. Top layer of plywood for both is the $50+/sheet fancy smooth hardwood stuff.

I cut the 8'x8' platform's central plywood runner down to about 3'6" wide so that it matches to the inside of the rack and so that there's more margin for error than the full 4' method (uncut ply down middle) that way the plates don't ever land half on the stall mat and half on the wood (having bumpers land on that 90* edge would bug me) and of course it looks tits when it matches

PreviouslyI did not bolt it down, instead, I stored 45 lb iron plates on all four corners. Same with my old smaller rack, though it would slide around when like racking the weight for squats.

Worked for me for years. Even on the small cheap AF rack, it just meant sliding it back once in awhile to make up for the creep. And of course keeping some plates on the corners.

The big one moved less than half an inch in a year just sitting on the mats, also with plates on the corners.

Was excited to finally try my first steel target that I got way back in november today. Not used to taking it to the range so when I left I forgot it and by the time I got back it was gone.....fml.

The one I'm looking at is fairly cheap, but it has a cable attachment for the back and weight storage pegs available, so other than what I'm lifting I'll have the weights stored on the rack in what will be center ish helping to hold it down. I guess that should probably be fine then.

Blue Alpha Gear belts are dope.

The Blade Tech carry belt looks cool too. It’s ratcheting so very fine adjustments. All the guys at my local range/shop use them and keep telling me to try one.

Back from John Wick 3 . . . pretty good flick. Not as good as the first but probably better than the second. Action scenes were many, long and entertaining.

Meh, they're ok. Hit or miss is the best way to say it. We have customers with fuking 20k+ rounds on them and customers that they died first range trip. I guess most people figure the gamble is worth it for the Vortex no question asked replacement. DP Pro is still my go to for competition optic. We have a few carry optic guys with over 40K on DP Pros with no optic failure.

Well I got mine because one of our academy instructors swears by them. It's a good holster but over $100 for any holster seems steep.
