It's not bad. Like .75/rd for self defense/hunting rounds. .47/rd for "range" ammo, but there's not really any point to "range" ammo, just practice/ train with 5.56 on your other ar15. You get the same training with 5.56 assuming same ar15 platform, recoil difference between 5.56 and 300blk is negligible at home defense distances.

So just have like 300 to 500 rounds, at most, of 300blk self defense rounds. Maybe an additional 300 to 500 of range rounds for fun.

Sounds like a good plan. What barrel length you think?

So that's a yes to will inclusion? I didn't explicitly call dibs on the firearms I guess so I'll take my pick of lawn equipment

Lmao I typed out response on my PC at work then emailed it to myself to copy and paste via phone. Probably unnecessary the length to go to not open misc on work PC, but whatever...

Then I still get error "page is taking a rest". What a piece of ****

Just get a 7 to 9 inch barrel. IIRC 300blk burns most of powder in first 9 inches. 9 inch barrel has like 90% of the velocity of 16inch. Look up actual ballistics tho

Entire point of 300blk is (in no particular order).

1. Ar platform
2. 556 mags
3. Short barrel balistic performance with either sub/super rounds
4. Suppresses nicely

So not getting a barrel shorter than 9 inch is a waste.

Probably best to buy prebuilt from like BCM or something. AR15 sbr barrel lengths can be temperamental, whether 556 or 300blk, this is in regards to cycling reliability.

You need to make sure you get the correct combo of: barrel length, gas port width, barrel twist, gas length, gas block, buffer spring, buffer.

Pretty sure the best combo is something like

Pistol gas length (for sure), 7 to 9 inch barrel, idk about twist, carbine tube and spring, h2 buffer. Idk look it up, ymmv, I'm a knuckle dragger idk wtf I'm talking bout.

Buy a ~9" complete upper from a good manufacturer. Clearly and unmistakably mark magazines for .300 only with colored tape or different baseplates or paint pens etc. Buy a .30 suppressor. <--how to do .300 blackout

Mine.

Specs:
- barrel is Rainier Arms "ultramatch" 8.5 inch barrel. I think it's 1:7 twist... can't remember lul kinda important to know but w/e
- Northtech Defense upper and lower
- Rainier Arms NiB BCG
- Some generic lower parts kit, but I swapped out the mag release with a titanium one for the lulz mostly just because of the color. Also swapped out castle nut and end plate with a titanium nut and plate lmao. Did all of that to match the titanium forward assist that came with the Northtech upper, this is all very superficial waste of money lol
- Geissele SSA trigger
- BCM kmr rail
- Thordsen buffer "brace" thing
- BCM gunfighter grip

I tried to grab and unlock my phone with my off hand to quickly take a picture of the bastard spider, but couldn't in time. The spider crawled out of emitter area and inside the holster suppressor sight channel. So I unholstered gun, then spider crawled out onto the outside of holster then I smashed that ****er.

Idk what kind of spider it was, it was kind of gray, probably slightly bigger than a quarter dollar. Looked like a Male black widow.

Bastard must have been chilling inside my back pack, or... in my pants yikes lmao

Pics for reference

Ever since this happened to me I'm paranoid about "holstering up" (how do you refer to attaching holstered gun to your belt?) a spider straight into my drawers. Now I visually inspect my pistol and holster every time lol

I don't recall who it was, but someone posted a similarly mild looking photo and sad it was gnarly looking, which is what I was poking fun at. But I guess it turned out to be gnarly anyway.

Na. I was on my mower staying away from the wife and kids huehue. Just a lil joke. But I really was out mowing and y’all made fun of me because it didn’t look bad out. Not like a hurricane though where you have to have tons of rain and high wind to have the nadoes in the area.
