There should be a law saying that if you give contradictory orders to someone as an officer and it can lead to the person getting shot, it is automatically deemed attempted murder.

look how fast the situation escalated...all because the guy didn't turn his car off because he didn't think he did anything wrong. That's why he asked "why?".

u can tell 30 s in, dude is scared shtless so he notifies his stream of what is about to happen rather than pull out his license and insurance. This 20 s delay led to a gun being drawn and pointed at his face. Seriously...

btw his gun and car were registered in his name. His crime? loitering and resisting a lawful order that could have gotten him killed...

THIS. IS. BULLCHIT. Stop making excuses for the police state plz.

But I don't blame him for keeping his hands outside the car at all times. Seen videos of police being so fukin trigger happy, even after telling the person to do something that requires them to move their hands somewhere you can't see.

Nope, sry to break it to u mein freund. He survived relatively unscathed.
cliffs:

-Dbag cop is investigating "loitering".
-Orders black kid out of car.
-Black kid is live streaming and keeps arms visible at all times, but refuses to move hands knowing he could die.
-Cop claims kid has a gun!
-Kid suddenly moves forward (could have died) and exposes his livestream camera and other hand out of the window making it clear he has no weapon.
-Cop orders him to turn off the engine, which would require him to move his hands and effectively justify the cop in shooting him.
-Eventually the idiots pull him from the car and arrest him.

Apparently he had a registered gun in the back, and the cop yelling that was sort of implying he had it in his hands, which could have gotten him killed.

He "had" a gun out of reach. He didn't "have" the gun in his hands. The yelling of gun is quite ambiguous and could have resulted in him being killed. And you know that.

His gun was legally registered as is his right under the fuking constitution. He's not just allowed 3/5 of a gun. He's allowed 5/5 or as many fifths of a gun as he wants. That's the fuking law.

You going off of what if instead of what is. There was a rifle in the car. Don't downplay that. The cop reacted to the rifle, maintained trigger control, and kept cool. The cop acted appropriately to this situation; this should be a training video for cops to learn how to not shoot people.

Yeah, he is allowed to have that gun, and the gun will be returned to him once this goes through the process. He was not arrested for having a gun. From your article "According to WREG, Truitt was arrested for loitering and disregarding an official order. "

This does beg the question though, why was he riding around with a rifle that was not in a case? At the very least that is irresponsible gun ownership.

Wincel I agree with many of your threads but your strawman attacks on cop videos is a lazy way to deflect. "If you don't agree with my outrage then you are a <insert label>". People will be more inclined to discuss things without falling into personal attacks if you don't enter a topic being completely biased. So many times when people actively seek to cherry pick cop videos they just have a deep-seated hate that clouds their rationality.

I am talking generally here and I am not even addressing this video but many videos where there are allegation of "Blatant <add whatever>" you can see how if the person just acted normally things would have gone fine. Also if the other person is a minority it's automatically promoted to being racially motivated. The news fans this hysteria as well, but they won't show you the immeasurable amount of videos of non-minorities or cops doing heroic deeds.

It paints a false picture, and yes bad cops should be punished if it's a clear and cut case but I can't hop on board with cop hate in modern countries especially when I've been to countries where the police force are legitimately 90% corrupt and EVERYONE is scared. If it's a 50/50 case in a video, you have to go on the side of the police officer who is dealing with this sh*t every day.
