Another 'women and their hobbies' thread
So I joined a bunch of aquarium/'aquascaping' groups on ******** because I like to scroll through people's fish tanks while I'm at work - I find it pretty soothing. You would think a hobby like fish keeping would be fairly gender-balanced, if not leaning toward having more women interested in the hobby. It has elements of: taking care of cute animals, home-making, beauty/aesthetics, growing plants - all things that I don't think would turn any women off. And yet, the gender ratio is like 10 to 1 male to female.
I'm curious, what are some gender balanced or women-dominated hobbies? I was thinking, probably anything trendy right now - so rock climbing was pretty popular for a while and it seemed like a lot of women were getting into it.

Women's only hobby is pretending to be interested in whatever is "cool" at the moment, partying, or watching trash TV. I can count on one hand women I know with what would be considered actual hobbies. Obviously I'm referring to women without kids too.
My Aunt is super into Holiday crafts and her house at Christmas is legit awesome. She also does sewing and has made some awesome stuff over the years.
My Friends wife is into Video Games and exotic animals, she also picked up some of my friends hobbies including airsoft and did that longer than he did, until she started working all the time.
It kind of makes sense though, throughout Most of human history all the best artists, writers, playwrights, architects etc. etc. have been Men. My theory is that women are so biologically driven to have and take care of children that they don't find hobbies as fulfilling as men because they rarely lead anywhere.

I have probably 10 or so hobbies (fishkeeping being one of them) and my wife has not a single fukkn hobby.

Lol at thinking that there would be women taking care of fish. Only think i know women like is shopping watching tv/netflix, social media , and some like cooking/baking.

Misc is hilarious. I do my best to not believe you guys and poison my mindset, as I don't have much experience women myself, but it seems so true. The worse is when they question your hobbies or call it stupid. Yet those hobbies are what make's a man his own man.
I'll say makeup, yoga and interior design are hobbies women do, that's about all I can think of. Yoga is pretty rare though, don't know many women who do it. and Knitting is for old grandmas

There’s a young women who comes to my bjj class. Admittedly her bf got her into it but she takes it seriously, and even comes alone when he’s working.
I know a couple girls who love to read, which is very important for ether gender. Other than that I can’t think of any examples of women I personally know who have hobbies. Some girls are good about goin to the gym.
