I still didn't like it as much as a conventional release, and refuse to put more effort into something that doesn't need to be an issue when something is already readily available and just as quick. Sorry that you feel attacked about the release still not being ideal, have fun stroking the paddle as much as you do yourself.

Also, please show me any greatly successful competitive shooter that actually uses a paddle release, they'll do damn near anything for faster times and more efficiency. If nothing else, you should get on brianenos and tell everyone about how wrong they are for not switching to a gun with a paddle release.
You sound mad. Why though?

Also, if I'm reading this right, using the paddle the 'right' way is as fast as the button release that fits you, and faster than the button release that requires adjusting your grip?

I don't track competitive shooters, I have no idea who uses what nor do I care. Nor do I (or virtually anybody else) carry competition guns anyway. I mean even relent only carries or ever will carry a G19 with its match grade stock trigger reset

Okay, guys. Need your help.
Shot the new .450 Bushmaster AR yesterday. Didn't work worth a ****. Wouldn't grab rounds out of the mag. I had to pull charging handle every time. I used a Bushmaster mag and the one the upper came with. Could see light score marks on the top of the round in the mag where BCG went over top without grabbing it.

So Did I just not seat the mag properly, or is there an issue with the gas system not pushing BCG back far enough to grab the round?

Many things you can try:
- different mag(s)
- lighter buffer
- make sure barrel gas port is proper size (sounds like gun is under gassed to me)
- *make sure gas block is properly lined up with barrel gas port. That will cause your issues for sure.

The communists are already talking about banning suppressors. Guess they found their angle after the shooter turned out to be a Black Democrat rather than a White Rightie.

Yep. All of the cultists on ARFcom are making excuses but the truth is, Trump is still a weather vane of a President and he would **** us over in a second if he could and thought it would improve his position. Obviously cans are protected under law better than bump stocks but they aren't impervious. Trump is garbage for 2A.

Kind of odd that--IF it's in fact an actual, legally bought suppressor--that there hasn't been information released on what kind it is. Surely, if legal, the ATF has that information right at its fingertips.

I'm starting to wonder if it was (1) homemade . . . if it was even a suppressor at all, or (2) some kind of fake suppressor, or (3) some kind of compensator and the fudds in the department don't know. Not that the dems or media would care either way.

So, this video is quite interesting and well worth watching. When he gets to, well, you'll know it right off, think about dims and libs and "logic" and "rationality" and lying to yourself about the world to make things fit your view, etc...yeah, just watch it and think about the libtards all the way through. Serious.

Dunno, initial reports from witnesses did say they heard what sounded like muffled gunshot reports. Media never report details of any kind, make model, etc. Everything is just big & black (noracist).

Anyone ever get weird chit in your chest area and just think "hmmm...wonder if that's gas or should I be worried orrrrr?"

Just me? Ok.

Guess I should go get a checkup and blood work done. I haven't been to a doctor for anything other my vasectomy in like 10 years.

R3l3nt . . . it's only bad if you start to hear harps.

I ended up in the emergency room one night a couple years ago. Woke up out of a dead sleep unable to breathe . . . wife looking at me absolutely terrified and my heart is racing. Finally I catch my breath and my heart is still pounding and I'm like "WTF just happened??". I started to feel better but she insisted on going to the ER--and it was prudent to do so.

Got the EKG done and all that and stayed in the bed for a few hours so they could monitor. All looked fine. We kind of went over what the day before looked like and we had gone to eat at a new Italian place that my wife wanted to try. Had a bit of a later dinner but not too bad. Had spaghetti and meatballs. The doctor said he thought it was just the sauce or something not agreeing with me and it caused reflux (which I never had before) and that triggered a brief aspiration that cleared. Had never had that reaction to food before in my life--and certainly not Italian. But safe to say, we never went back to that place again.

That was seriously about as scared as I have ever been when I woke up not breathing. I thought I was having a serious medical issue--my head was sprinting through my life at the time.

Sounds scary AF srs.

I've never felt short of breath or any other symptoms associated with heart attack. But I do just feel random ass chit I can't explain sometimes. Weird pressures that comes and go, strange pains (not really pain. it doesn't hurt exactly but I can't explain it) that comes and goes, etc.
I just want to get some blood work done and some ticker tests for peace of mind. I don't want to be a hypochondriac but I don't want something serious to be going on and I keep putting it off as nothing.
I have no real history to base if I have anything genetically. My grandpaw died of a massive heart attack at 50, but he was also a heavy smoker, drank, etc. My dad doesn't complain of anything, but he never goes to the doctor for **** either. So he's no good to base anything off of.

My wife's family drops like flies at early ages . . . and it's almost entirely self-inflicted from what I know. Horrible diets, drinking, smoking, etc. Seems like every few months there's a 50-year-old dropping dead from a stroke, diabetes, heart attack, etc. But it doesn't seem to motivate many of them to act differently.
