My dad has bad sleep apnea since his early 40s/late 30s (he currently 60). I've started to get sleep apnea the past couple of years probably. Didn't notice until I had strep throat this past December which exasperated the problem. I also get sleep paralysis fairly regularly. Have woken my mind not being able to breathe and stuck for like a minute or two. Have also had bad acid reflux where acid goes all the way up into my nose and sinuses, burns for like an hour. Feels bad man.

When I had strep it was Christmas time so I was visiting parents. I took a nap and my family said they noticed I stopped breathing, then they counted to 120 seconds before they woke me up lol.

There was a couple of nights when I had strep that were hell. I was so damn tired but couldn't sleep at all. I'd start to fall asleep, then like 5 seconds into "sleep" my airway would close up then like 20 seconds later I'd wake up gasping for air.

Felt like that roman/Greek mythology where that dude gets punished by the gods to where hes chained in a river dying of dehydration. The water of the river is up to his lips but every time he dips his head down, the water level drops always out of reach. Feels batman.

After the strep was gone (went to doc, they confirmed strep then gave me amoxicillin) my sleep apnea has barely been an issue. Sleep nicely.

@relent I used to get sharp stabbing sensations in my chest area, thought it was either my heart or some nerve issues but ended up being severe acid reflux. So bad that tums didn't do ****. Went away on its own after a week.

I guess eating greasy Mexican chips n salsas late at night can cause some issues

I very rarely get acid reflux. Or symptoms of it at least. Certain sauces will do it to me but for the most part I don't.

But I've heard a lot of people be diagnosed with acid reflux with no obvious symptoms. Just weird chest pains/pressure.

I know (assume) this is a joke, but in all seriousness: Why do either one?

- smoking is absolutely stupid for all the obvious reasons. Stinks, terrible for you, etc.
But drinking. I just don't understand it. I'm perfectly happy without feeling "buzzed". I hate the feeling of being drunk. Who likes hang overs? I don't understand the reason to spend money on it. lol

I couldn't get it even close to matching the same time/consistency for myself, for some maybe, definitely not me, I don't carry it any more because of how much I dislike it and the other conventional options out there that are not only faster/more consistent for me, but not having to think twice about how to reload. My own fault for not knowing what I wanted before buying, but you acting like the paddle release is superior for everyone is still a joke.

1.) so stupid because if you apply logic there’s no reason NOT to encourage suppressors. Less noise pollution and there are no real cons to it.
2. ) Trump is getting more fun control stuff done then Obama.
3. ) Most gun owners are FUDDS so they probably support bumpstock and suppressor bans.

Did spareribs this weekend. About 5 hours at 225, used apple wood chunks and hardwood lump charcoal.

Using my apple juice spritz technique I got the smoke ring all the way to the bone. So tender you could gum the meat away from the bone but it wasn't falling off.

That feel when insurance costs you thousands and thousands of dollars a year, but you haven't costed your insurance company a single penny because you haven't been to the doctor in like 8 years. (Aside from vasectomy.)

Then you get even more feels when they don't want to cover the tests the doctor wants to do for the heart chit. Nice.

The only explanation for this is that you're doing something wrong lol, and not a paddle vs button thing. Gravity works really quickly, pushing a well positioned button or swiping a paddle isn't the time consuming part of a mag change unless you're doing it like it's your first time and you aren't sure how it works and you have to look at the gun to find the button or some ****

(or you try to hit the wrong thing and go for a paddle/button that isn't there because it's a different gun)

The paddle isn't in a good spot for the shape/length of my fingers, how hard is this for you to comprehend lol? With my cz, I keep my grip without moving anything else other than my thumb slightly, even with the palm swell grips. I have to shift my entire hand to hit the paddle on the HK, if I don't, it's incredibly inconsistent, regardless of the time I put into it.

It's definitely not a a time consuming part of a mag change, but it's not only quicker with a button, it changes my grip with the paddle, leaving one more variable to "worry" about.
