I'm pretty black pilled after I split with my ex (not on female nature but the modern world and how it has wrecked relationships). Women my age have baggage and stuff and are quickly losing fertility..If I kids with a woman my age I need to have it NOW before they hit the 30s. I'm not perfect and certainly don't tick every box from the pov of women so getting a 20 year old with family values unlikely. Idk, maybe I'm just being pessimistic; men don't have limited fertility but our lives are tied to the sex that does. Who would have know that we needed each other?

My parents were old too, my dad passed away at 69 last year. I never really experienced having "young" parents that were still active. Some of my friends have parents in their 40s, in a way that would be so valuable as theres less of a generational split.

My parents were not old but both died young so yeah life is not always going to turn out how you expect.

Oh yes, I still haven't recovered from it. I am still bitter even though it's been a long time. But there's another female miscer who lost her parents as a child in a car accident, iirc, and that would have been much worse. So everything in life is relative.

It is not all bad. I love having older parents for some reasons. Inheriting a proper Scots tongue, hearing harmonica and penny whistles and other things that were old hat by the 90s, the stories and culture. My gran was born so long ago that she was only semi-literate because there wasn't much use for working-class girls to learn in the 1910s.

I have many old fashioned views that I inherited through them that don't serve me well though.
