Saw it with some buddies of mine. I was high af cuz I ate edibles beforehand so my experience might be skewed, but it was shiet overall. Didn't helped that I laughed like an idiot the whole time.

I found her character to be unlikable and routinely found myself rooting against her despite knowing she would make it through. You're definitely free to disagree and perhaps I am more salty than I should be. Nevertheless this movie looked to be bad from the get go IMO. Sad too because growing up x-men was one of my favorite series.

The problem is most women can't stand comic book movies. So they are pandering to an audience that doesn't exist.

Thank you, Disney and thank you, Jennifer Lawrence.

What a shame. I remember being a wee youngster watching the OG XMen cartoon series. That dark phoenix saga was like 3 or 4 episodes long and intense af.

Movie sucked, fox pretty much did this on purpose so that disney has to wait a while to start xmen. Dark Phoenix is a epic saga, so if they didn't do this marvel would have been able to salvage from apocalypse failure and create a epic dark phoenix saga. Now it's ruined and it will take some time to get the green light and get it rebooted.

Crazy enough it was not the woke in the film that made it suck, the writers just failed horribly. Dark Phoenix saga needs at least 3 films, 2 minimum to build the character and story.
I just want to share the knowledge I have obtained throughout my life and hopefully change someone's life.
