Almost never see people benching the 85+ dumbells srs
Only really fat dudes or jacked dudes with a thick barrel chest or big ass arms are doing this for reps. I doubt the average man could even pick up 85 lb dumbells off the ground more than several inches srs

That’s because you’re a lazy bag of human waste that doesn’t frequent a gym so you probably don’t see many things lifting related.

Actually I was a twink and could put up 85’s
But for most gym goers I agree it’s rare srs
Though I’d say 120’s are really where you start seeing only the 1%ers

So, someone started a thread about how 225 was impressive. I was all like "someone's trolling hard."
Now, I'm being told 85s are impressive. I am still being trolled hard, but I recognize the trolling now.

Of course the average man couldn't press 85 lbs. The average man can't bench a plate or do a single pull up.

I like benching dumbbells because it doesn’t hurt my shoulders. Most guys in my gym are benching 60-80, 80-120 you don’t see many guys doing. I never understood doing a dumbbell exercise for a one rep max. Dumbbell sets should only be done with a 5 rep minimum.

OP go lift and stop being a little whiny bich about how no one talks to you and how much your life sucks and yet you dont do anything to improve yourself and the life that you've been given by being born into this world.

Sorry if unrelated but general bench question. My chest is way stronger than my triceps. The obvious solution would be to do triceps assistance but the problem is when I do that, my triceps get sore which takes recovery time which means waiting longer before the next bench session which makes me wonder if there's really a benefit.
Also, is there even any point in worrying about assistance right now? I'm only at 250x5. I've been too worried about getting fat. Should I wait until I've done a get fat and strong phase before worrying about assistance?

Chalk and forearm training are really helpful for dumbbell presses

There are girls in my gym that do more than this. I stopped doing dbs and moved to barbell when I couldn't go more than 100s, and I'm a fuking twink by misc standards.
