Yea i just lost mine not too long ago. Miss the fuk out of him

Kinda want to replace, even though hed never replace the former one. Former one grew up with me as a child. He was there in my 6th grade, all the chit i went through, all the way up to 28.

He had definitely slowed down but the end really sprang up one me. Whereas weve had other dogs that seemed to be on last legs for a while

It did take a lot of time though. And i wouldnt want get a dog and have to leave him all the time

Ilovebelgian malinois. but they do bark, a lot. Not only do i want to be 'that neighbor' (we have a very good neighborhood i've noticed, not a single one has a yappy dog that they dont quickly shut up or whatever. I love Huskies, they are absolutely gorgeous, but they are typically pretty hyper. Just make sure to research the characteristics of each breed you may be interested in. This is also why I recommend rescuing a doggo that is about a year and 1/2 or so. They've hit maturity and you'll be able to gauge their true personality, like are they super low energy, or high energy? This is a huge thing for me. I would not have the time or energy for a high energy doggo. Mine is a couch potato. He gets short walks 2x a day and a longer 30 min walk at night before bed. If he wants to go longer. He usually wants to go home right after he poops and it's me making him walk. lol

Dog lover and owner since I was a kid. Losing them HURTS like Hell. But having them is great.

I loved having dogs, but I can't support the type of dog where I live currently. I miss having German Shepherds. I have cats, but those little turds basically take care of themselves. I have 2 cats that are on the level of a dog in mannerisms and how they want attention.

- Have stairs? They like to run right in front of you, then lay down so you pet them - as you're walking down or up the stairs. so if it's dark especially, they're asking to get stepped on

Haven't thought about this but I have a nice car and obviously would like to keep interior unscratched and whatnot.

I'd put my back seats down (Q5/SUV) maybe put a pillow so they cant get to front seats/bother me while driving, and a sheet down in the back. especially if they aren't potty trained, but either way prob like you said to protect interior. just get a cheap walmart sheet or two.

There are plenty. Always adopt your cat from a shelter or a rescue group. Never buy a cat. Same goes with dogs.

The thing with cats, like dogs, not one cat is the same. There are so many personality types as a cat adjusts to you.

-You can train them when they are young to hunt mice/gophers if you plan to keep them outdoors.
-No mice in your house
-Spiders, flys and bugs are their targets.
-Adopting a young cat is a mixed bag on how they'll behave as they become older.
-Adopting an adult cat will give you the benefit of knowing what you are getting.
-Most cats are pretty chill, and don't require a lot of your attention (Mostly)
-Cats can be as playful as dogs. Even better with a laser light.
-The purring of a happy cat is the best.

-Stays that become your pet tend to be the best indoor and outdoor cats. My best cats were formerly strays.
-Fixing them at the right times prevents negative behaviors.
-Cats are like mini tigers or lions minus the mauling you to death thing.

Are softer, more flexible and feel better when petting. Are chill and not needy. My cat has its own door so it goes in/out whenever it feels like, and always goes to the toilet outside. When leaving the house for a week or two a neighbour or friends gets the key to the house to just fill the water and food bowl once every few days and thats it.


Whereas dogs can guilt trip like crazy, leaving them alone when going for work or w/e can feel bad, and owners often can't even plan a weekend unless they know someone can babysit their dog

Bruh I used to let my dog just go poop all over the back yard then like every other week I'd call a local pooper scooper company and they'd come clean it all up for cheap af.
