The black and mild wasn't even lit. Prob tried to cover for the smell of weed. Not that he deserved to die for that, but dragging a cop with your car will get you killed in an instant. Both made a few big mistakes in this situation.

I just don't get this. At all. "Career criminal" my ass. Dude looked like he was scared chitless when the gun was pointed at him. Probably a small time gangsta wannabe who's done some petty theft and freaked out. Thankfully, nobody died.

These kinds of situations are so fuking stupid man. Srsly. And weed doesn't fuk your ability to drive nearly as much as alcohol.

Career criminals can’t be scared of dying?

“Weed isn’t as bad...” who cares? That’s the law and weed does indeed impair your ability to drive.
Horny.

You can be scared of dying, but to react that way when a gun is pointed at you is pretty pathetic and sad. The dude panicked. I'm not faulting the cop since the cop was in a really fuked situation. It even sounded like he was just gonna give him a warning. But the whole situation is just sad. Because this was essentially over some fuking weed.

Two losers here IMO. Driver is an obvious loser / waste of life. Cop is an idiot escalating like that for weed as well. Could have easily got him off his plates, why risk dying over it?

Some will say it was an overreaction for just a bit of weed, but lets be clear he was clearly resisting arrest by driving away and he went to grab the cops gun. We don't really know enough to make a clear judgement, what was his intention in regards to grabbing the gun, what if he was going to shoot the cop, how much weed did he have in the car, his reaction seemed over the top if he was just carrying some for his personal use.

Yup, a guy who got shot at for resisting arrest and putting an officers life in danger is the same as "executing someone who failed a breathalyzer"

Yes. I've been arrested, and 7 officers pointed guns at me lol. I complied peacefully. Honestly, at the time, I had just chickened out of killing myself so I really didn't care much. I'm not the type to cry about it or freak out. If the grim reaper appeared to me tomorrow and said it's time, I'd ask what took him so long. If I died in my sleep tonight, well that would be alright with me. I'm terrified of the most basic things in life, but dying isn't one of them, strangely enough.

I do hate injury though, and my biggest fear is probably someone mutilating or torturing me.

I just think it's amazing how people freak out when a gun is pointed at them. They must really love their lives lol.

Try and see these people as two men, rather than cop and 'bad guy'.

Imagine for a moment law didn't exist.

Imagine Man #1 walking up to Man #2's car, and holding him against his will. Imagine the Man #2 wanting to just be left alone. Imagine Man #2 crying because he's scared for his life. Imagine Man #1 pulling a gun on Man #2 and shooting at him while he holds onto his car.

Who's the bad guy, Man #1 or Man #2?

Yes. But the officer acts on behalf of the law. What needs to happen is the law needs to change. I wouldn't necessarily call the cop a bad guy. Things just escalated really fast, and the cop always has to be on edge because you never know when you just pulled over a serial killer who will kill you and flee to avoid capture. Sounds like the cop was being pretty nice about the whole thing until that chit happened. When u consider that the cop could have fallen and been run over, there is definitely cause for him to freak out.

Wearing a uniform doesn't excuse an individual from their actions.

"The law said I should perform an immoral action and kill this man"
"It's my job, because it's my job, I'm allowed to perform immoral actions"

It's not an excuse in my eyes.

Dude obviously was either trafficking weed or had other **** in his car to act like that.

Cop is an idiot for pulling his gun instead of a taser but the guy is even dumber for not just listening to him. It’s the guys fault, not the cops and he deserves whatever he gets because he clearly was at fault and riding dirty as ****. Just look at him and his blacked out Escalade and gold teeth he’s obviously a dealer or something...

Wow, I can't believe you are profiling this driver like that. He could just as easily be a doctor, a lawyer, a rocket scientist, a biochemist, a historian, any of those professions is JUST AS LIKELY as scumbag POS drug dealer.

Bro, you didn't freak out, not because you didn't care to live or die, but because you had nothing to hide.

I've had a cop put a gun on me at a traffic stop and guess what? I didn't freak out and did exactly what he said.

Stupid people get shot. Period.

If you're gonna smoke weed where it's illegal, drive with illegal tint, and carry a gun, you have to be ready to deal with the consequences of getting caught. As soon as the cop asked him to turn his car off, the guy got sketchy. I've been pulled over probably 30 times and have never had an issue.
You pull the fuk over
turn the car off
roll down the windows
and turn on the dome light if its dark.
Keep both hands on the wheel until the cop asks you for sh*t
The cop has no fuking idea if the guy has a gun in his door pocket or what. Flailing around like a retard.

Ya just let him go so he can rob and kill somebody later that day

The people freaking out are the ones that have guns and illegal sh*t. Cops know this. They respond appropriately. Like this officer did.
As soon as he pulled his gun the guy should have shut the **** up. Spit out his black and mild. Put his hands in the air and listened to exactly what the cop said.

I had this happen to me and I was just confused. I was at an airport where a souvenir on my keychain set off an alarm (it was gifted to me by an Army brah). In a matter of seconds I was surrounded by those golf carts with police aiming weapons at me asking me to put my hands up and explain.

I was just...confused - perhaps in shock. At no point would it occur to any rational person with nothing to hide to 'run'. The apologists on this forum when it comes to obeying law enforcement officials is so pathetic, honestly - I mean I get that it is chitposting/trolling but just wow.

But don't worry man. You're just an 'NPC', probably a chitstain for not trying to argue that local laws don't apply to you and so on.

LOL.

The amount of cucks in here blaming the cop is what’s wrong with society now, probably would blame the teacher not liking your kids if they got in trouble at school too or the coach playing favorites for not putting them in the game lmao.

Im not anti cops but I seriously don’t care for the majority of them but that officer had every right to end that POS. One of the few actually protecting society.
