Glad to hear they will have what sounds like a "story" mode which is basically an easy difficulty that you can play very casually. I enjoy a challenging game, but I can't enjoy it if I spend 90% of the time frustrated by how difficult some parts can be.

Hardcore mode sounds interesting. Maybe for a second...or third...or fourth play through.

I'm guessing the unannounced actors (or whoever else they get) will play the equivalent role that Keanu plays depending on your backstory:



If you don't choose the Samurai background, you won't get Keanu and will instead get these other unannounced actors

They mentioned a possible NG+ too, wonder how that will be, if perks/skills carry over or what. It would make playing at increased difficulty a second time easier but not feel 'cheap'.

That's the kind of thing that gives you a warm tingly supporting a company, and I seriously wish that you could buy a physical copy straight from GOG because they legitimately deserve 100%.

Cyberpunk allows you to go all out and identify as a goddamn attack helicopter if you want, and they'll still find a reason to bitch, which is all the proof that these companies across the board need to see as a reason to disregard all of them.

Let's face it: companies who make movies, tv shows, or especially video games do all sorts of things that "should" rile up theselegionsof SJWs and impact sales... but not a damned thing happens to their figures. With video games in particular, publishers/developers will pull some downright anti-consumer moves and people will buy that game, the next after, and the one afterthoselike they have the memory of goldfish.

This day and age, news (especially controversy) moves so fast that twitter twat throwing a hissy fit will be forgotten, whereas a game completely selling out to that same group will be forever tainted because they pissed off theactualconsumers and fanbase.

Have any of you guys ever played RUINER? I can't believe it took me this long to finally play it, and hooooly fuark I'm in love. If you need some cyber punk action to get a fix, this is it.

Amazingly fast paced game play, incredible world design, perfect neo-tokyo cyber punk dystopian feel, badass hard synthwave sound track, bio-hacking, the whole 9 yards.

So, WTF.

I finally got on the hype train and went to preorder the collector's edition and it is sold out in the US and about 7 EU countries I checked.

Wtf is this?

On PC builds...my new one will come in as soon as 4k, 27 inch, 4:4:4, HDR and 100+ Hz are simultaneously available. So waiting for the next HDMI.

Hoping this'll all be available by the time this game comes out.

Uhh...collector's editions were literally selling out within hours after announcing it was live depending on country/platform. You're WAY late to the party on that.

Had to buy the Xbox Collector's Edition, grabbed it the second it went live (before PC). PC went live when I was at work so missed it. Just grabbed the digital from GoG; the collector's will just be a display anyways.

I'm sure you'll be able to buy on Ebay once its released if you're willing to pay 2-3X original price for it, if not more.

Edit: some of them actually aren't terribly priced on Ebay, depending on platform. PC is most expensive. I guess it was more rare and sold out fastest.
