Getting attention is getting recognition more or less.

If you are invisible and don't get attention, paying for getting attention does not bring you recognition which defeats the entire purpose of getting the attention in the first place.

But not only you miss the point but by giving money to another person for their attention, you give them recognition (as you deem their attention worthy) without getting their recognition in return (since you pay for it, it is false recognition) and you even lose money in the process, it is like buying the chain of your own slavery, basicaly the most retarded thing you can do.

If you ain't gonna get recognition, the best move is not buying one but not entering in the game of recognition at all since you will not provide recognition either which will result in a stalemate.
