Thats the thing here - its the action that needs to be punished, not the consequences.

Going back to the example of the public asskicking to a male and female and the subsequent different levels of humiliation that follows - if both were sucker punched and curbstomped, is the one that did it to the female less guilty than the one that did it to a male?

I understand it doesn't affect the young male as much as it does the young female - it still doesn't change the fact that a 30 year old predator used her influence, maturity and experience to exploit a minor. And that is what the crime is.

If you and I were to rob different convenience stores by gunpoint and you got away with $300 and I got away with $20, should I serve a lesser sentence because my victim didn't suffer as much?

If I beat up a homeless man who has no pride left to destroy while you beat up the homecoming king who was absolutely devastated by the defeat, should I go free while you are punished because your victim suffered more than I did?

Exactly this too. I want everyone here who's said a 13 year old is not a child to go into a classroom full of them. Go ahead. Go talk to them. Then tell me they're on the same level emotionally, maturity wise and looks wise as a 29 year old adult.

I'm not comparing them to this case. They're just simplified, non OP related examples, to show how you can't input different variables and expect the same outcome.

I'm not justifying anyone's actions, don't imply that I am. My posts can be simplified even further to say that 1 doesn't equal 2. That's the very root of what I'm saying.

Only rebuttal exactly what I type and no presumptions or implications that I'm implying anything other than exactly what I type -

A 13 year old boy child, is NOT a 13 year old girl child. The effects of an adult male teacher abusing a 13 year old girl child will be more harmful, on average, than an adult female teacher abusing a 13 year old male child. Both adults are paedophiles and deserve severe punishment.

In Canada a 14 year old can legally consent with a 19 year old, and a 15 year old can consent with a 20 year old, these are close-in-age exceptions to the Age of Consent laws. 13 and 19 could be a matter of months off, probably wouldn't even go to court here (depending on the parents) but it's not even close to the same as the situation in the OP

Teenage girls are FAR more mature -- generally both physically and mentally -- than boys of the same age in that phase of life. What exactly is the reasoning behind a boy being less prone to damage than a girl in this situation?

I don't think anyone is claiming 13 year olds are the same maturity wise as 29 year olds. but 13 is a teenager and has most likely gone through puberty and is attracted to girls and women alike. That's not quite the same as a "small boy" which i think in most peoples heads draws the image of a 5-8 year old. "child" outside of US laws usually refers to someone who has yet to hit puberty. So real ****philes are adults attracted to children who have yet to hit puberty.

I'm fine with her being punished, but I just don't think a horny teenage boy having sex with his hot teacher is gonna be all that devastated in life.

Agreed with this. There's even an insanely popular song from the 2000s that is all about horny teens, who look insanely young in the video (great vid btw), wanting to smash a MILF. I present Stacy's Mom into evidence.

There's also the 'nice' southpark reference that gets posted all the time in these threads. There's just something different when it's a 13 year old boy and a 13 year old girl. Is it still wrong? Yes. Should it be punishable? Also yes. This teacher should absolutely be punished because we can't be having teachers abusing their power. But 20 years seems off to me. Punishment doesn't fit the crime imo.

It's relative to how each will be treated in society.

The boy will often be treated by his buddies like he's a victor. His reputation in his network will skyrocket. Sounds backwards to say. I'm not saying female teachers should abuse student boys. Just stating reality. Sometimes the boy will be negatively effected. The boy was a victim.

The girl will be treated like she was a victim, and she was a victim.
The girl will lose all of her self esteem.

Both adults are pdo's, regardless of outcome, and deserve severe punishment. However, both cases are not equal. That's my point here, that both cases are not equal. Whether they should be punished equally is a different conversation.

See you're arguing what the punishment should be, I'm not even arguing that.

I'm arguing that one situations is worse than another, even if both situations are bad.

To use your example, the convenience store guy getting robbed $300 by me, and $20 by you. He was worse effected by me. Agree?

What should the punishment be? That's a different conversation, one I'm not even arguing. I'm just arguing that one thing is worse than another thing, that's all.

i think the punishment should be how the victim feels. but then again he's a child.

if i was the kid i would say that i really don't feel that she did anything bad to me. but that's me lmao i was horny as **** at that kid's age

Of course the husband defended her. The fact that he was the kind of man that would select a trash woman like that already guaranteed this outcome

But why do you continue to argue that? The point is the punishment should be the same whether it's a male child or a female child. Someone shouldn't get leniency because they molested a boy vs a girl. They are both equal crimes.

Yes, children fool around and experiment. With one another. Not with people in authority positions who are twice the age of the child. Really twisted stuff and it's astounding that we're still having this conversation.
The misc is getting better from what I've been seeing. Only a small few of us used to argue female teachers should get equal treatment to male counterparts and she is in fact a predator. There seems to be fewer and fewer "lol wish I could bang my teacher before I had pubes that would be fkin hot srs bro pussy rocks" posts each time we have this discussion

just wondering this:

When do teenage years start and when are you technically no longer a 'child'?

I was drinking beer and partying at 13 years old. I would have banged that teacher so hard (and last 20 seconds) and shared all the details with my guy friends. I would have instantly reached alpha male status.

I agree with the 20 year sentence for the action and intent, but the consequences for a male teen with female teacher and female teen with male teacher are completely different.

A 13 year old is a child. Your rationalizations don't make that statement any less true. Those rationalizations would be weird as a one off, but they're outright shocking considering the thread context.

The thing is, these guys won't and don't see it this way, because they believe 13 year olds can consent. That's the simplest explanation. Then they continue to mock the idea that sexual trauma is real and experienced by boys and men. Sad.

Is a 14 year old a child?
