MSM talks about incels like they're super dangerous but apparently nearly 30% of men are incels and that almost 30% account for like 0.0001% of the murders.

So statistically incels are incredibly safe.

Depends on how you define "incel." The 28% or so from the survey is from guys who haven't been laid in a year. However, when we think of incels, we're referring to men who are part of the incel community and either haven't been laid in years or are virgins.

I've had a quick look around for the background for this.

As insufferable as incels are, I don't think this is really related to them. This was essentially a case of 'chit got real' amongst a group of druggie emo kids who live on the internet.

First of all, under no circumstances should such acts be justified or accepted. But, its the old story, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". Or as we say around here "If you play with fire, you gonna get burned".

When you have this type of behavior, you are playing with the fire. It's well known that the world is a dangerous place and when you hurt the feelings of a lot of people, eventually, you gonna hurt the feelings of some sick and evil people. And they gonna get mad. You should protect yourself first because all your actions have consequences.

You can't expect "climb" a favela in Rio with your iPhone on your hand and not expect to be robbed or something else even worst.

Some of your attitudes make you vulnerable.

That being said, the killer should pay for what he did.

It sounds like he was posting on the forums after the act, but I thought the police arrested him outside the murder house? Was he seriously sitting there with the dead body just casually posting on forums?

He'll probably get beat up or something but I doubt he gets killed, it's not like he is the only one in there who killed his girlfriend in a ****ed up way. A lawyer friend of mine defended a guy who drugged his wife, strangled her and hung the body up in a garage. The other prisoners didn't exact revenge on him or anything.

A bit different because I assume it was a wife so there was a relationship which can add elements of jealousy and reason for violence. That and I assume the wife and husband are in the adult age and not a teenager.

Usually they get killed if there is no reason for the act. For example a random rape ou murder. That's not the case.
