she does have a good voice and her producer does have some actual talent if he wanted to use it, but essentially every song they have is boring. sleepy, dreary and often distorted vocals over production that is minimalist to a fault. it's fine to switch it up to something like this every once in a while but not on every track.
she's popular under the guise that she's "different" in pop music, which basically just means doesn't sound like ariana grande.
