Take the wheel off.
If you're using spoons I suggest Q3s for that soft sidewall, if you have machine you can't beat Pirellis.

lmaooo... think I missunderstood.. my bad

Other note:
Picked up my 790 Duke a week ago on Friday, had to break it in for 1000km.. currently at 850km, and that is in 3,5 days of riding.. waiting right now for the weather here to get better and get those last couple KM's in before that 1st service on Tuesday. Can't wait, rev-limit is gonna be gone after that so the fun begins

Slow going on H2 sale. That's what I get for buying a super niche bike haha.

Got the numbers worked out with the KTM dealer on its replacement so hopefully it goes soon.

Nahh.. lol That's typically all I ride with though. This was a set of used fiberglass track fairings + some extras for $150. You're crazy AF if you think OEM fairings are cheap. My K7 would be $750 to replace one of the sides IIRC. That was $10 worth of spray paint.

Going to finally ride next weekend it looks like. Just need to inspect her, not going for new tires this season either. Not close to the wear bras and they are holding pressure.

Sales on the 996 and VTX 1300 went a little better and quicker than I imagined. I took a beating on the 996 but I bought that with my heart and not my head. It happens.

So now I'm one week in on the GSX-S 1000F. Found a used 2016 with only 2100 miles on it at a car dealership. Took it home for a steal ($5900). Found the previous owner on social media and it looked like he went from a CBR500 to this beast so I would say he was scared to death and eventually traded it in on a new mustang after only putting 2K on in 3 years. You should have seen the chicken strips.

I like it so far but definitely need to send the ECU off soon to smooth that throttle out. It's stupid fast for me coming from the 996. I've always heard that the inline 4 1000cc motors are better for the street and that's no lie. I can drop to 35 in 5th and just roll on the throttle and be back up to speed in no time. So much less shifting. The ergos are good. I can ride for a few hours now and not want to kill myself. (the 996 was brutal on the street)

Now all I need are some riding buddies.

Yeah I was pretty happy with it. Called the day before on a new 2018 that was listed for $6800. After all the dealer BS it was going to be $9200 out the door. Decided I was only going to look at used after that and found this one 5 hours away. Black and red 100% stock.

hnnnnngggg I like it. Looks great.

yeah man. Based on my research, it's almost dumb to buy any bike new since you have to deal with destination fees, assembly fees, etc that bring the bike up an extra 2k before out the door. I hate that because I truly want new one day.

Used just seems to be the best bet

Absolutely, and if you're willing to drive a little bit you can usually always find the bike you want with low miles in great shape.

checking in. this is my new bike

not me in the image. zero srf

but got this because i live in a heavy traffic area and thought it would be incredibly easy to ride and low maintenance. Thing is incredibly fun, still slowly opening up the power/torque it gives me in the settings. Downside obviously is range, not taking this out for all day rides.

Yeah, used 2016 with 2K miles, but it was like new.

Looking at cycle trader it appears that I got the best deal in the country on one. Already ordered mid pipe (cat delete), windscreen, and levers. Going to wait until I get all that and order PAIR block off plates then send the ECU off while I install everything. Should be a fuking beast with cat delete and ECU flash.

Nice man. I just installed shorty adjustable levers on my CBR and I love them.

Your bike is gonna be crazy after your mods. Are you gonna add frame sliders?

I'm slow AFFFF.. Wasn't a lot of organization throughout the weekend. Novice was basically "pass on straights", but it was always a free for all by the end of the day. I got passed by some quicker people on the inside a couple of times. Interesting experience for sure on the track vs street. Definitely picked some stuff up. Wrecked yesterday being stupid. Feeling it today. Took PTO off to recover, but am too stubborn to actually take the day off. lol

Pretty sure what happened was I'd just came off of like an hour and a half break. It was the first lap back out. I was trying to get myself to back off the first couple of laps again, but in doing so zoned out so much I stopped paying attention. Ended up going from inside to outside of corner not being able to fully stop, and ran off into the grass. As soon as I hit the grass I washed out.
