I honestly feel like this country is going down hill very fast

Politics have been a complete joke. People are more selfish than ever and angry than ever. Everybody's diviced. Technology is getting out of making people anti social. This politically correct movement is a joke. And don't let me get started on the hate men get

Maybe I'm wrong. But imagine voting for someone who says he can kill 10,000,000 people with ease. I think people would rather see this country burn than work together

Some people live out in the country and completely ignore the news and media. No internet or TV and only an old school flip phone.

They keep track of what their property taxes are and vote accordingly, but that's about as political as they get.

I have to admit I watch the news too much , and being on the internet isn’t helping .
Tell you truth when I stay away from those two, I find my attitude improves . It’s like the internet and tv are actually toxic mentally, putting you in a rut .
Doesn’t help listening to all the positive energy here , but I bring that on myself lol

She did not raise her hand for free healthcare for illegals. She has gone on record about this. And reparations might be a joke to you, but you should know 40 acres and a mule translates to a LOT of wealth that was never inherited or passed on. It could have made a huge difference today. It's a debt owed by the US govt to black families long ago. That debt was never paid.

The bill she sponsored wasn't reparations directly. It was to study the effects of slavery and attempt to understand what amount of reparations would be considered a feasible amount. The total amount adjusted for inflation today would have been over 6 trillion dollars, so obviously they are not going to be able to pay that back out. But, many feel there ought to be something done. At the very least, our govt ought to invest more into developing african american communities stricken with poverty.
