Am I the only one who sees that dude just chillin walking diagonally across the street while all the chit is going down. Like at 40sec left mark. Cops are all taking cover and shooting and this big dude just gives 0 chits.

Yeah but they're probably not capable of that level of planning. Getting near a politician with a weapon is infinitely harder than driving downtown and pulling a rifle from the car.

You could still have mass shootings with pistols though, like V-Tech which was the deadliest shooting until Vegas, I believe.

Besides that it's a matter of civilians being outgunned. The limitations placed on semi-auto rifles in California alone puts you at a tactical disadvantage in those situations...compared to a street criminal with pistol grips, high cap mags, and suppressors.

I totally get why you'd think reducing the number of these guns is good, but our unique volume of firearm ownership in the US means you just make it harder for law-abiding citizens to be on an equal playing field with criminals. And we legislate our rights away on the basis of, what amounts to, a fraction of a percentage of firearm homicides (aka legislating off spree shootings). When people bring up gun control from other countries....it's not even remotely relatable considering our gang/drug crime issues that they don't suffer from, as well as volume of firearms.

LOL I saw that too but when he was chill walking that's when the police were lighting him up like no tomorrow. You can see him run for his fckn life in the second half of it. Never seen a fat guy run so fast in my life.

Not sure why he potato'd and ran for the bar with cops in direct line of sight shooting at him, but then again he is obviously pretty ****in dumb to begin with.

Hats off to the police officers though.

Its pretty common to have that many officers in down town areas with bars/clubs. We used to staff 18-24 on Friday/Saturday nights just to stand around the bars. TBH in our down town area parking lots shootings at 2:00AM when the bars close are fairly common. Enough to where when I've been working anytime shooting pops off my first assumption is its just a few thugs shooting at each other and not an active shooter. (Which has been the case 100% of the time here).

I got mad respect for those LEO's. They instantly ran towards gunfire, so many lives were spared because of their actions. Everyone of those officers deserve recognition.

Everyone loves to rag on cops all the time. One cop makes a questionable decision and the media blow it up and paints all cops in a bad light.

Then you see this. Hordes of people running away, and these brave heroes running towards the danger to help the very people who hate them.
