Its called freedom jackass. Why exactly are you afraid of law abiding citizens?

So you have multiple people breaking into your house armed and you only get 7 rounds to protect your family

Before you try to bullchit thats literally happened

Evil exists in this world and laws wont protect you, only yourself will nd if you choose to not learn how to protect yourself that is your decision but your fears dont get to dictate what other law abiding citizens get to possess to use for self defense

Keep your guns America and always fight for that freedom. Nothing is perfect but being completely defenseless against a government is much worse. It's always the same leftist cucked profile of those arguing against guns in a country with such a high circulation. Better than having 6 police running around a criminal struggling to detain them.

I don't think anyone with reasonable intelligence takes Brenden seriously. He's just rode the coat tails of other famous people.

I am actually pro 2nd amendment but I find the "hur urr they called a semi-automatic ar-15 an assault rifle they clearly have no idea what they're talking about" argument to be total horse chit.

Brb so what if it's semi auto it is a low recoil round that is easy to fire in quick succession with high capacity mags available.... That makes it an "assault weapon" under the loose definition that it is primarily designed and suited for killing large numbers of people.

The other thing to consider is if it's mechanically similar to a select fire version (i.e. actual assault rifle) but it simply doesn't have a burst or full auto option, then saying a semi auto version isn't an assault rifle is like saying as soon as you switch an M4 to semi-automatic that it is no longer an assault rifle. By that logic when you engage the safety a gun is no longer a gun

I think these people are probably pretty happy they had AR15's + 30 round mags.

Atomic bombs and Cyanide gas are considered "munitions" and "Destructive devices". States are not allowed to own atomic bombs/nuclear missiles either. The federal government does.
Mini guns are considered Machine guns which are already heavily regulated/banned.

Atomic bombs are far beyond the affordability of the average citizen today. Or todays "militia". Atomic bombs are also not in common use.

Do you honestly think each individual citizen could on their own afford the modern military? To pay for an entire missile silo in their backyard, the installation of equipment to maintain that missile the control systems and the fuel and DECADES of maintenance for that missile and the silo? Can the average civilian who struggles with their car payment, rent, medical expenses afford to build runways and hangars and other facilities to have a B-2 Stealth Bomber in their driveway? Let alone afford to pay for the training to learn how to fly it and handle all the operating systems? Can the average civilian afford to go out and buy from the ground up the expenses of a Navy task force including carriers, support ships, crew, aircraft, and take care of them for decades a ship is in service? So if you are asking if a civilian can walk into someplace and buy a nuke and secure it from others who may desire to steal (whether an enemy spy or terrorist) it and keep it safe from accidents and radiation leaks there would in theory be so much demands and regulations that no civilian could afford it.

Dont forget the "Heller test" basically says that the arms protected under the Second Amendment include handguns, and others which can "contribute to the common defense" are "in common use at the time". There is additional language that justifies continued traditional regulation of "unusual" weapons. As a result, nukes simply don't pass the Heller test.

Also particular note is that the military pattern, magazine fed semi-automatic AR-15, which is America's favorite and most popularly sold rifle is pretty clearly protected by the specified test, and handguns, noted to be what most Americans choose for their own defense, were specifically included in the ruling.

no it could not. You have millions of gun owners, it would turn into a mass civil war until one side wins or submits to the other side. Without guns the oppressor in power wins every time.

Imagine the ****ing carnage a few citizens armed to the teeth with killdozers could do, it would shutdown an entire city. Then the people will get hungry and start looting everything, will the government just start mowing down people on the street?

Also, citizens and guns stop a whole lot of potential crimes like robbery's, home invasions ect, it's just the media never ****ing reports it god forbid they show guns in a positive light.

Nice try, NRA. Everyone knows that once you ban something it disappears and becomes impossible to obtain. Regulating something heavily works just as well, please see our heavily weapons restrictive cities such as Chicago and LA for examples.

How much do full auto machine guns cost? I know you need a class 3 license, which seems harder to obtain. Say a Mini Uzi. How much would something like that cost? I've told people that getting fully automatic guns is hard but I could be wrong
Tons of people hunt with AR's today. They are a completely modular firearms that uses a cartridge that is already popular for hunting. There really isn't a "class 3" license to but full auto. You actually are limited by state law also; but essentially you apply for a tax stamp under the NFA laws, pay your $250, get signed off by the CLEO or sometimes a judge, then wait for approval which can take 6 months sometimes. Since no new full autos can be transferred you are stuck with pre 86 weapons so supply and demand kicks in. I'd say an uzi would cost over 8K.

I know very little about the differences in guns, so serious question: can your .223 rifle get off as many shots as an AR15 in the same amount of time? I believe the "anti-AR15" crowd is for limiting the magazine capacity and shooting speed of the guns.

It's such a chitty idea to "round up all the semi automatic guns" since they'll never get even half of them and they will still be available on the black market anyway. Anyone who believes it will work is a short sighted retard.

The speed is not enough difference to matter much at all. And like I was saying above, there are already enough high capacity clips and magazines already in circulation that it won't make a difference if they start limiting capacities on NEW clips and mags.

Legally? Typically around $20K-$25K+.

The reason is scarcity. The only MGs you can purchase as a civilian are MGs that existed when the ban went into effect in the mid-80's. No new guns can be added to the pool of available MGs, which means every MG out there is already owned by somebody, so the price has to be worth their while to sell.

They (the Government) can enforce all the extra BS gun laws they want... all its going to do is keep honest people honest... those who wish harm or have ill intent will still find a way to do so and likely with the same weapons they are trying to ban. Even if they went door to door trying to confiscate them one by one they wouldn't even obtain a 1/3 of them on top of it being a goddamn unnecessary bloody mess.

Having been in the military, I can promise you that 99% of those in care a whole lot more about their country than their government. Some of the most patriotic freedom loving kunts you'll ever meet. They came to serve their country, not the government, although that is what the end up doing (serving the govt) the underlying purpose is for the country. They really hate the politicians, feel they are the problem. Most of all, our troops are taught about moral compass and not to just "follow orders". One of the big one's were if the government ever asked them to turn guns on the American people. Just LOL thinking they will come home and kill their own families or even support the one's that do for that tiny paycheck. It wouldn't just be a defector at a time, it would be whole companies. I promise you it would be the whole damn USMC at once storming DC putting politicians and anyone who chose loyalty of the government on the ends of their bayonets.

Anyways, just LOL @ anyone stupid enough to listen to this guy like he knows anything outside the octagon and didn't even know that very well it seems.

"Assault weapon" is a made-up term though.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/20668...pon-frank-camp

Even if you claimed the term goes back to WWII, you'd have to be both a student of WWII and the German language to note that the Germans called their best late war SMG a "sturmgewehr 44" and that translates to "assault weapon 1944", but this was not its original designation and the new name was chosen by the nazis solely for propaganda purposes (the change of designation order was signed by Hitler). Until then, it was called the MP43/MP44 (similar to the MP40 that preceded it). MP stood for "machine pistol".

The speed is not enough difference to matter much at all. And like I was saying above, there are already enough high capacity clips and magazines already in circulation that it won't make a difference if they start limiting capacities on NEW clips and mags.
I think this is a big point worth noting and thought the exact same thing after listening to Bernie Sanders on JRE.

We are too far down the rabbit hole to simply ask for everyone to politely turn in their guns/magazines that people want to ban. Look at the drug war, by making weed illegal we created a giant black market full of crime and extortion. The guns are already in circulation, by criminalizing them all that will happen is they will become more valuable which will lead to sketchy people taking advantage of that element.

I do not own any guns yet I still do not think the answer to solve mass shootings has anything to do with banning them. The terrible reality is that this is not an issue that will go away anytime soon and it doesn't have an easy solution.

If you want mentally deranged people to stop going on murder sprees, we need to increase resources for mentally deranged people to get help.

Playing devils advocate here....

What's the need for an assault rifle anyway?

Who do you plan on assaulting?

Lettuce beef real tea, a weapon that can fire a hundred rounds in a minute only really has one purpose..... Mowing down crowds of people....

Tell me another reason you need a weapon like that ...
