I've never traveled the world (extensively in the US though). But backpacking around third world sh!t-holes, sleeping in hostels, etc. sounds like hell.

I wouldn't mind visiting a few places. Thailand, Italy, Santorini a few tropical islands, etc. But I want to be staying at upscale resorts and fine dining. Not living like a rat in the streets with the impoverished locals.

4K is expendable cash, sounds like you are broke lol

Lol @ traveling = lower quality of life.

I expected better from you Testie. I had hoped someone of your calibre would only travel if they are able to maintain the same quality of lifestyle, and only fly F, or J on carriers that don't have F suites. And of course, utilising your platinum elite status, would only stay in the finest Conards, Carltons, JWs, and Westin upgraded suites...so very disappointed in you. I had hoped you and I would see eye to eye on this, but it seems you only travel like a peasant.

that 2 weeks spent in japan is worth way more than 6 months staying home. obviously for close-minded people it's boring and worthless though.
I've lived overseas for months at a time and worked there. The difference between that and a 2 week stay is night and day m8.

Meanwhile one of my ex gfs went overseas to travel for 4 years, she's got 0 dollars saved and in the same time I went from 60k to 115k and have over 50 grand for a house. She's got an Instagram full of photos and is glowless and returning with nodda and I'm set for the rest of my life. Rekt. Check m8 travelcels.

Most people especially the married guys use it as an excuse of freedom to drink and smash random chicks.

There is no doubt in my mind her number doubled or tripled in those 4 years since shes moved to Australia to work, save and travel. She was a young server before she left and has been bartending and serving over there.. Shes on 27 with no education and no circle of close friends because she moves from city to city every 6 months. Imagine, no friends, no future, just insta photos and saving to take d in random countries.

Not saying I would advise this type of life, but if the goal of life is to be happy and this is what does it for her.....who am I to judge? These type of girls tend to be really fun.

As a side note, if I'm ever traveling through a western european city (Paris, Rome, Vienna) I always make a point to....

a) not go there in June, July or August when the tourist crush is at it's peak

and

b) try to get out EARLY in the day (just before sunrise) to have time to enjoy the city when the streets are close to empty.

Rome in particular was very enjoyable in this way. At 5AM you might be one of only a dozen or so people at the Trevi fountain.... Try that chit at 2PM and you'll be one of a thousand lol.

traveling helps with the perspective that you are not the center of the world.

America is not the greatest country in the world, not even close.

Blasting through a steaming jungle all day on a motorcycle then stopping to have beers at sunset with your boyos and finishing the night by having a sloot zuk your dick

Goat memories that you can look back on and smile is worth every dollar spent
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

She would call me once about every 6 months saying she misses having people who cared she was alive, friends who would be around, a true inner circle etc. After 3 years I told her I'm an ex, not a shoulder to cry on and to just stay in one city and make a real circle of friends and to also never contact me again.

Shes a lost soul for sure, beaches and miles of D have gotten to her for sure. I can't imagine not having friends and family that care for you and some stability and purpose at 27.
