I've said this a lot. Islam is chit but the west can learn a lot from them, especially regarding traditional values, gender roles and how sloot and degenerate women should be treated.

Lol beat me to it. Some people itt may not want to hear this but liberalism is as much of a "western tradition" than women only being allowed to wear long dresses or not allowed to vote.

BTW, even in Saudi Arabia they've has become lax on some of their laws. It may take another 50 or so years, but they'll be like the west in due time.

Oh and one more thing. Most of you have probably never worked with Iranian/Syrian/Saudi/Indian (the dot kind) women that were raised in "traditional" households if you think being oppressive is good for them, then you are wrong. The women can't do anything but that means the men have to do absolutely everything in their culture. The women become pretentious and spoiled and lazy brats that whine and complain about the tiniest of things. They will call in from work because they have a runny nose from allergies or an unsightly pimple, and feign to be dainty and weak and cant even pick up 10lb boxes off of the ground.

That "supression" of women is oddly enough a twisted form of white knighting to the point that their women are completely useless aside from bearing kids.

Muslim men can marry women from other Abrahamic religions (e.g. Judaism, Christianity) per Islamic law. Women can't do the same though.

However, it's frowned upon given that you can expect conflict between the parents on how to raise the child. Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are all very similar religions when you look into it, the major differences can be a touching point.

Saudi Arabia and China are pretty much the same in terms of law. Women are not allowed to drive and be independent in those countries without being beaten to death.
