If anyone hasn’t seen the movie “Shotcaller” you should def check it out. It’s pretty depressing but it seemed pretty in line with everything that this dude is preaching.

My mind is still full of fuk at how guys can get/stay this jacked in prison.

yea was interested upon being recommended one of his videos. Subscribed and have been watching them since. The only one I haven't seen is his most recent. Did 10 yrs for assault w a deadly weapon. Has a lot of wisdom and prison stories and sociology are always interesting.

Dafuq you J-Cats asking for cliffs. There's no cliffs in prison, weakens the story. Story has to be 10/10 strong all of the time.

Good channel, going to watch more.


Scariest part to me is how you can go in for say two years, and then get put in a position where you'll end up service 10+, but if you don't go through with it, you might not survive the 2 you originally came in with.

I like his videos and have watched most of them but I can see him over doing it and putting too much material out. Plus making the same type of life coach rants just in different ways will get old.

I mean how much can a guy who missed 10 years of his prime in the real world actually teach you. Prison is not life. Besides he is from Oceanside so it must take a real idiot to mess up the life he had to become what he is now.

I live on a ranch taming and breaking horses in the middle of nowhere and am a felon but never did prison time thankfully

All of the food is highly processed. Plenty of alcohol and drugs. Just no women. He already discussed how hard it is to get your protein in. In one of his videos he mentions he meticulously counted macro's and he took some kind of BCAA pill that was available for purchase that had like 2G of protein. Pop 30 pills and you've got 60g of protein. Etc.


In his case I absolutely believe he was an 'enhanced lifter even in prison.

I wonder if anyone's asked (because I don't see him addressing it in a video) how he's able to disclose all this information with no fear of retaliation. Even though he's not naming all the names in his stories, he's definitely giving ammo to COs as far as what to look for and where.

I have a friend early 40s who has spent 12-15 of the last 23 years in various CA prisons, in one of the big 4 CA prison gangs, and even though he's likely retired/removed from that way of life, if he were to do videos like this he'd likely be killed.

I love his videos, he's like the cockslap in the face of IG and premium snap sloots that a man can make money off social media but without compromising who they are. Watson can proudly show his kids and grandkids these videos. IG sloots will just look like trashy sloots.

It's not that we think he needs the views, it's that Rogan usually has entertaining conversations with his guests, hence the reason he has 6 million subs. The videos Wes did with Simon Rex and Big Herc were ****ing great. Rogan would be even better.

I've watched numerous videos from 4 prison channels: this guy, Big Herc, 23and1 and After Prison Show. Each one of these people has a very different personality and did a different kind of time but are absolutely united in the general message of "whatever you do, don't go to prison because it fkn sucks."

Wes Watson is an interesting guy but I think he'd be exhausting to be around in real life if he keeps up that kind of intensity all the time. Definitely has some good advice and thoughts on life, but also strikes me as having a guru-type personality.

Notice he clearly had people looking up to him inside and how he used them to do all the grimy chit that he needed doing. Now he's talking a very positive philosophy, but notice how his fitness lessons sound like he's probably giving out a whole set of life instructions? I think his followers might be sheeple and I think he might have a need to surround himself with that kind of an audience. Could be completely wrong but I am sceptical of anyone who spent years being a mid-tier drug dealer doing violent crimes and then a full decade being a violent felon but they've completely changed their ways.

I think his principles are sound. Mind, body, soul. Identifying adversity and facing it head on, embracing the challenge, coming out the stronger human at the end physically and mentally. You can use this same mentality towards anything from weight loss, to adding an extension onto your garage, or preparing for an important exam.

The comments on his videos are filled with people who are clearly (at least they say so) deeply inspired by his story and 'GET SH!T DONE' mentality and that's fukin beautiful by any means.
