Do older people not like younger people?

Been noticing that older folks seem to be rude or bossy to the younger crowd. I've seen so many instances of bosses being very rude to their younger employees and people being mean to people working fast food or waiters. But almost never see the opposite.

Lots of inter-generational tension. Boomers are about prestige, hierarchy and instant respect. Millenials crave positive feedback, are collaborators and nonverbal. Leads to a lot of issues in the workplace.

I think it's more that older people don't have the patience for younger people.

Older people are more about face to face communication while younger people are all about tech and staring at their phones.

True but older people are so stubborn and want everything their way. Older people are the only people i see that are just not willing to reason with others.

My boss was talking about this just the other day, we have lots of older customers who are always rude and angry to the employees (mostly younger college kids)

He said the reason they're that way is because they have health problems (like their bodies hurt, arthritis, high blood pressure, they're overweight, etc.), not to mention a lot of their older friends are either sick or dying.
