I pretty much only spin Pokestops and Gyms on my days off from work. My bag can hold 1,000 items. Even with gifts from friends my bag always goes under 500 items in five days.

Tested out the Gotcha quickly today and it auto-spinned the Pokestop. I will fully test the Gotcha out on Saturday.

Yeah i only use mine when i'm at a pokestop for more than an hour
- my gym has 2, always just turn it on when i lift

When I am catching a Pokemon, the Pokemon Go Plus will not spin Pokestops or Gyms. I am curious to see if while I am catching Pokemon, the Gotcha will auto-spin Pokestops and Gyms.

I prefer to catch the Pokemon and have never used the Pokemon Go Plus to catch them.

You can set it to just catch or just spin stops/gyms. During the stardust event, all I had the gotcha do was spin stops while I fast caught everything I could. Works very well when you’re in a spawn dense area.

I just set it to spin stops/gyms today. Worked well.

It wouldn't auto spin when I was in the screen of catching a Pokemon. I would have to get out of the screen for it to auto spin. That was the only thing that was disappointing (just like the Pokemon Go Plus).

Try using a mystery box that spawn meltan. That’s 20-30 steel types right there.
