This is what FIVE hair transplants looks like

I previously had a thread on here when I'd had three done. Figure now that my latest results are in from my most recent HT, I'd post an update.
The big limitation of a hair transplant is that there's only so much that a doctor and staff can do in a single day. At most you can only have 3 people implanting follicles from the donor area to the recipient area at a time (one on each side plus one in the center). I had a lot of ground to cover so generally could only get between 2k to 4k follicles moved per surgery.


My hair in 2008 vs 2019




Back in Nov 2018 I had my most recent surgery - this one was only about 2000 FUE to fill in some bare spots, give better temple points and lower the hairline slightly. You can see the strip scar from when I had FUT's done. My previous FUE implanted a few follicles into some wide sections of the scar, so now its completely masked when my hair grows out.




It takes a period of 5 to 7 months to get a real idea of how the results turn out, with full results taking approximately 12 months.

Me at 6 months post-surgery. 28 years old vs 38 years old.




All of these pics are me at 27 or 28 vs me right now at 38.






If I don't gel my hair up, then it usually ends up like so (old head with oil to accentuate hair loss vs normal gym session)

Incredible hair gains. I'm surprised you had enough hair from the back for 5 transplants. Also you didn't look that bald in the pictures on the left. Yet it still took 5? Damn...
Must've been expensive as hell but amazing gains!

How expensive was it? Any recommendations for brahs getting a hair transplant in the future? How did you find the right doctor and how long did it take to make an appointment? (i heard you get on a year long waiting list)
Currently on meds myself to stop my hair from falling out further but would love a hair transplant in the future although i doubt i can afford 5.

I went in and did a consultation and would 100% do it if I knew that the rest of my hair wont fall out.

Looks like you also hit the gym hard in that time, although the difference is so great between the after and before, losing weight and gaining muscle are only a small part of it. Clearly for you the xplant was the way to go, glad it worked for you, not everyone who goes down this road ends up as good
