I would probaly face the same fate as that man. Out in the open and didnt saw it, you'll get wrecked before being able to do anything. And those mf's can chew bone like if it was a fruit, so no brahs, only a gun could probably save you... That is, of course, if you dont miss the shots.

I am a big dude compared to most, 6ft 4 and 280, various martial arts training over the last 18 years.

I had a situation with a pit cross once and I tried to essentially man handle it, I was used to GSDs and assumed it would have a similar type of strength.

Nope.

In utter desperation I tried something a muay boran kru once told me which is to reach from the back, underneath and pull the front legs apart - essentially doing serious damage to the ribs etc. Its legs didn't move, I just pissed it off.

As someone said, unless you had a serious knife or a firearm I dont think the majority of people would stand a chance. I know I wouldnt.

A pissed off boar must be terrifying hand to hand.
Some roads you shouldn't go down because maps used to say there'd be dragons there. Now they don't, but that don't mean the dragons aren't there.

I've heard of that ripping the front legs apart strategy too. Its meant to rip their heart apart or some chit. Sounds like it might be an old wives tale now. I'd probably go for the eyes If I was unarmed and being mauled. I was also attacked by a large dog when I was teenager as well and its a terrifying experience. You only real instinct is to run, their teeth may as well be knives.

Yeah unarmed humans are weak as fuk compared to other mammals. I wouldn't rate my chances too highly against 2-3 pitbulls unarmed. Although give me one of these I'd be reasonably confident I could take out 4-5 of them at once. I've got a wicked home run swing.

(I actually own one of these pig bashing bats, although I only have it for backup self defense only).

kind of annoying how noone did anything to help the old man. How the hell does noone in that household have absolutely nothing but broom sticks? to attack with? I get not having a gun, but hell even a god damn frying pan would have been better than swatting the damn thing with the straw side of a broom. The sloot running around trying to be cute in her boots was completely and 100% worthless.

They are durable and strong. Sometimes it takes 2-3 dogs just to hold em down for a hunter to stick it in the heart. That boar also looks decently huge as well.
