After I broke my arm, the doctor is the hospital had to 'reset' it. I also had a horrendous concussion at the time so all they heard was me faintly moaning but in my head I could feel everything and was shouting profanities at them. I saw the doc later that day and was fully conscious at that point. I apologized to him for my profanity and he laughed then told me "You were barely even awake, you were just moaning."
Can't describe that type of pain, it was unfathomable that something could hurt so bad. I'm grateful I've never had kidney stones after reading replies above though.

I broke my thumb in three places snowboarding last May. That was pretty painful by itself.
After the surgery when the anesthetic wore off was the worse though. The pain for the first 24 hours was immense and is the only time I've ever taken opioid painkillers (despite being prescribed them several times). It was manageable past that though.

Both thumbs crushed when I pulled out a block from under a fifth wheel snowmobile trailer. Split the skin all around the sides of both thumbs. Jack failed. I was in public school. Pulled the gloves off somehow and both thumbs were flat. Then the swelling began. Nail was intact, and when the doc drained the pressure the blood managed to hit him, the nurse, and the ceiling. If I had known what was going to happen Id had better aim...
I know, its a long way from my heart, but my god...that kind of pain when you are 14 is the worst.

Either the dentist drilling into a nerve in my tooth every time they fixed it. I chipped my front tooth as a kid and the filling was replaced yearly as I was still growing.
or
Laser on the eyeball for retinopathy. They cauterize the blood vessels of the retina, but you can't avoid the nerve endings and you can't freeze the inside of the eyeball. Imagine having the inside of your eye poked by a red hot iron and the pain radiates up through the socket to a terrible frontal headache for 24 hours.

They literally had to stick a scope straight up my dickhole and chop it up with a laser. Luckily, I was under anesthesia. They had to put a stent in my ureter to keep it open because the giant stone cut it up so bad it swelled shut. Woke up and they said I had to piss ASAP. Tried to piss and it was like pissing beach sand mixed with blood and piss. Looked like carrot juice lol.
2 weeks later I had to get the stent out. The doc said he would numb me up to do so. Turns out, it was only numbing gel on a q tip that he stuck in my dickhole while I was awake in the saddle chair. Then he grabs this big scope and shoves it right up my dickhole. I yelled “HOLY FUK”. He grabbed the stent with the scope and pulled it out like he was starting a lawnmower. Little did I know, the stent was like 8” long lol. Then I just started uncontrollably pissing into this drain pan. It was one of the worst things ever. Went home, took some morphine that they gave me, and curled up in the fetal position on the couch for the rest of the day.

I heard from a woman who had three children say that she’d rather go through the pain of having all three of them again rather than having to pass the one kidney stone she had. I can’t even imagine the pain.

Kidney stones 4 times here, most recent 2 months ago. Was on pain meds for a week and was p!ssing blood and clots. 10/10 pain. The last time 5 years ago, the nurse attending me said the pain is worse than childbirth. Stay hydrated boyos.

Caught an edge snowboarding on an icy day, legs came out from under me at FULL speed, landed directly on my arm. Snapped my radius and ulna bones in three places, my arm looked like a U-bend pipe on a sink.
Luckily I was immediately put on a ******** drip at the hospital, but that hour gap I was nauseous and keeled over whimpering in agony.

So I was taking tons of Motrin which barely touched the pain. I would have been glad to drop dead and be put out of my misery. Srsly.Probably the night when the nerve blocker wore off after my ACL allograft and meniscectomy.
Zero sleep that night.

When I was in high school gym, during a soccer game, I got hit point blank in the nuts by a soccer ball. It was like an electrical disruption in my body that left me too messed up to move for several minutes.

I was in North Sulawesi with a bunch of sailors, too many nights on the beers and clove cigarettes combined with spicy food and locally distilled liquor (no bueno)
Basically spent two days in bed with upper abdominal pain, probably dispepsia. Bad cramps every 5-6 minutes.
That was the worse pain I've ever been in. Some ladies bought me a fish broth and some pills. I came good after a while.

In no particular order... Fractured hip, sneezing with broken nose, dislocated kneecap, broken ribs, dislocated elbow
Honestly sneezing with a badly broken nose with popped sinuses probably had the greatest amount of acute pain

I’d be guessing, but I think I was around 6 years old . I was on my bicycle and stopped , but went down hard as I turned my wheel. Didn’t get my hands down in time and did a face plant into the pavement.
I can still remember the pain to this day , fark was it harsh

Just remembered another. In grade 10 I took a running leap onto the stage in the gym . When I jumped I came up short and landed on the wood corner of the stage with my shins . Have to say it was excruciating
