I've heard there is a way to guarantee a lucky trade but wasn't sure if this was true. Anyone know of a method that increased your odds the most? Cheers

1) If you have less than 10 lucky pokemon on your account and trade a pokemon that was caught in July or August 2016 then it'll go lucky.
2) When you're "best friends" with someone, if you continue interacting with them you have a chance to become "lucky friends" and your next trade is a guaranteed lucky.
Asides from that, the longer ago the pokemon was caught the higher the chance of it going lucky. Base chance is like 5% though, so for most of us if the pokemon really matters the trade has to wait for lucky friends.
